Now that V6 Manuals are in customer hands and V6 Autos still waiting for North America CARB approvals/production/delivery , thought a separate thread would be beneficial to share the progress. Mods: you can delete this if you think it's unnecessary. Thank you!

I have my $2500 deposit down on a V6 Auto. Excited to see the delivery's and reviews from forum members. Unfortunately I missed the cut off for the First Edition. Patiently waiting for the base configuration to go live on the Lotus site.

When I checked last month, it seems dealers were asked to fill AutoV6 FE production slots based on submission dates. Mine is FE 2.0. Deposit Sept 21. Order submission Aug 23. Hoping it to arrive in Fall. 🤞

Placed my deposit in Oct 2023. I was told I'm 7th in line for the V6 auto and the dealership is awaiting allocations. They said they are all FE 1.0. I guess....soon? lol.

I placed a deposit just this last May. They said they are aiming to have a v6 auto to TEST drive in December. Which is around when they said they would likely have an allocation for me. I am expecting if I follow through on the allocation for it to arrive in april or May of Next year.

Placed deposit Aug 2021. Submitted order/second deposit May 31/24. Expected delivery Dec 24. First Edition v2.0 V6 auto

Just heard from the San Diego dealer April/May deposits for FE V6 autos are getting confirmation to enter production in July, and corporate is asking to deposit $5k more for those that paid the original $2500 deposit.

Sounds about right. I had to pay $7500 cdn on placing order.

They haven't asked me yet. Good to know!

We have some members confirm FE1 auto were already being built starting late Apr/early May. Your statement that April/May deposits enter production in July - assume these are FE2 slots? Supposedly FE1 would start arriving ..... soon but CARB is still looming so no idea when being released to dealers. After 3 years, still amazing Lotus decided not to communicate and leave everyone guessing and making assumptions based on tidbits of information.

I would assume FE2 slots. If I'm not mistaken, the San Diego Lotus dealership just recently opened for business to take orders. I think within a past few months? It had been an Aston Martin dealership mainly.

Placed a $2500 deposit with Lotus New London - CT on 1/5/24 for a non FE V6 Auto.

When placed a deposit last month for a non FE V6 Auto. My SA called the factory to see if I could get in on the FE V6 Auto run. They said unlikely, but would let him know. My guess is unless they have alot of cancelations, I'll be building a non FE. He said they were currently waiting for their next allocation from Lotus, but didn't know if they'll be V6 MT, V6 Auto, I4 or a mix. It's unfortunate for the dealerships and buyers how Lotus is not informative. Before I but a deposit down I called a few dealers in my area and no one knew when the base configurator would be live on the website. For all I know the next V6 auto run could be a year down the road. Hopefully we'll get some info in the next few months, but I'm not betting on it. Lol

I know everything just seems up in the air and nothing in stone. I wish I knew the price of the non FE but I’m guessing we won’t know until the configurator is updated. I don’t even trust that the automatic will get CARB but we’ll see. I’m honestly considering learning to drive a stick instead and buy one off the lot somewhere for MSRP if I can get lucky. I live in the city though so driving manual would kinda suck haha. I currently drive a Supra that continues to depreciate so I’m really hoping to get this car sooner than later.

I test drove a MT at my dealership and also thought about purchasing one. As much fun as it was to roll through the gears, I think after a few months I would have buyers remorse. I daily my sports cars and appreciate the ease of the PDK in my Porsche and automatic in my Nismo Z. I'd consider the I4 Automatic if considerably shortens the wait time, but definitely prefer the V6 Auto.

Submitted order / second deposit Jun 9, 2022. Through Lotus of north jersey. Haven't had any new updates so far.

My timeline so far for a V6 auto:

Initial Deposit: 2024-05-20
Second deposit & order submitted: 2024-06-01
Order request approved: 2024-06-03

Dealership mentioned an expected deliver in Dec 2024 which matches what a couple others have heard - hoping to enter production sometime in the next couple months.

There was only two weeks between your deposit and order allocation? Is this for a Base edition auto V6? What dealership, that’s incredibly fast.

That’s awesome! I put my deposit down 10/2023….no word yet on an allocation.
