£71500 after only 4 hours! Still 7 days to go haha!
@TomE ,
Hurry up, you'll get this one ahead of Lotus delivery, and it's been PDI´d
I have it on good authority that two of those aforementioned dealers have had at least ten people wishing to pass on there as yet untried car for 5 to 10 k more than list ! Needless to say the dealers see no mark up at that level and feel that a first edition emira which is being produced for two years at least is by this time next year when production should be in full swing will be worth trade 68 to 70 k to sell at or below list !Really none wanted to buy the Emira? Did they say why?
Thanks for this. Interesting as to why there so little appetite for the Emira in the trade.They told me no current demand, plus they had heard of cancellation orders.
Kind of makes sense, I know most prestige dealers made 5k on cars up to 70k, now I've noticed them wanting to make up to 12k on cars up to 100k.I have it on good authority that two of those aforementioned dealers have had at least ten people wishing to pass on there as yet untried car for 5 to 10 k more than list ! an unproven product and lots of downside risk given the state of the economy
It'll certainly set the benchmark and let's not forget the buyer's fee of 6% which at the current bid of £72.5k means another £4k+ on topAgree if the one on collecting cars fetches 100k they will be all over it…
It's actually doing well this soon in the Auction to effectively be at £ 76,850It'll certainly set the benchmark and let's not forget the buyer's fee of 6% which at the current bid of £72.5k means another £4k+ on top
You got me there!But who buys a car with red calipers and a yellow contrast stitch?
Who ever is bidding they would of been better buying the car when it was advertised on autotrader- unless of course the seller was not open to offers below the £105kAh yes the fee will create some drag.
Compared to the other cars on collecting cars the emira seems to be punching well above its weight so far…. Only a few cars with a higher bid, which of course are mainly rare Porsches
You tell us… isn’t that your car on auto trader??!Who ever is bidding they would of been better buying the car from autotrader- unless of course the seller was not open to offers below the £105k
I think its 5% and a maximum of 5000....It'll certainly set the benchmark and let's not forget the buyer's fee of 6% which at the current bid of £72.5k means another £4k+ on top
Plus VAT....I think its 5% and a maximum of 5000....
What we should all do is chip in and buy these first 4 5 cars..to protect residuals ....
