Emiras advertised for sale on other sites

I wonder if, these first few cars flipped don't get a large overs, Lotus will alter it's PCP rates to cope with the anticipated larger depreciation. Mind you this is counterbalanced by any inflationary increase next year.
More importantly, will they alter the PCP to have a higher guaranteed future value (balloon) if the cars get high overs?! It would be a nice way to balance the increased APR

At 73k plus fees its at list nearly. Serious bidding starts now, but if he is a dealer he must think he can retail 90k.

Surely a lower final payment is best, IE run the term and pay 40k but the cars worth 50k rather than pay the final payment of 60k and the cars only worth 50k??

Lotus don't call it a balloon they call it option to purchase or something like that

The higher the balloon (option to purchase), the lower the monthly cost is on PCP because it means the amount borrowed is reduced because the car is worth more at the end of the term

The first 5 odd cars sold wont have much effect on anything as even the 1st 10 can be put down to many factors, plus or minus....
Wrong time of year.... rising interest rates..... having the latest thing down the golf club.....filling a gap until they get the super car they ordered.
Only when a few months have passed I guess will things settle down and then can be correctly judged. As I've said before, I'd be amazed and worried if this car goes for less than 90 and I doubt the trade guy will have the winning bid, he's just chancing his arm and will probably pull out after it gets passed its reserve price, which Im guessing it has not done yet.

The advert will change to ‘No Reserve’ once the reserve is met

I’d say well over 80 for reserve… 90 even
I can tell you its not.....its close to MRSP....
I still maintain I am not the same Gary...but its no where near 90.. nor 85......

Sounds bizarre to me!

You did suggest it was coming to collecting cars then it magically appeared so I do wonder…. are you the Gary??!

As our friend said, you cant just decide your own reserve, if CCars dont agree with it, they wont list your car. I have had 2 cars they would not list. My bowler 90 defender I wanted at 40... they wanted 36... I sold it on autotrader for 50....
Westfield same story and my porsche currently they wont list either as my reserve is too high for what they think will make an interesting auction.
no, its 100% not me.... my 2 cars are blue in UK and red in Spain... but I have spoken to them about my blue car and hence I know the reserve is not where you think it is ;)

Fair enough makes sense!

Assume future reserve might be somewhat higher by next week…
I would certainly like a reserve of about 85 so as not to run any risks, since if it went for 81, Id rather keep it and sell it next year for about 76... dont think they will drop too much now they are pushing waiting lists even longer>

I reckon this could easily sell for around 100k… large majority of the cars I’ve seen (recent admittedly) add at least 20% in the final 24 hours …. in which case you’d expect them to up the reserve

exactly what I have been saying all along... but then the recently departed leonard and others dared to disagree with me.... what a nerve people have, really..... haha

its now... NO RESERVE.... so either it passed the reserve, ie retail price before extras of 76, or, they convinced the seller to remove the reserve, to encourage more bidding.....
Still 4 days left....
