End of the Emira V6 order is now confirmed to be Feb 2025

Regardless of whether it continues or not, if you want a V6 anytime in 2025 you are best to order it now. Who knows how long it will take them to cycle back to it.
Agreed. Don’t order now and you run the risk of FAFO.

Hmm I dont take my chances. If anything goes by plan I could see myself order one at the end of summer so it will be here by spring 26.

This!
Noone knows if Toyota keeps on building the V6 for Lotus. They might, they might not. I believe IF they stop making the engine (for Lotus), its out of emission regulations that are getting too strict and not that they dont use it in the camry anymore.

We‘ll see. Either way I do believe it will come to an end with the V6.
Toyota board room>>>>>Yeah sure, let's keep an engine factory line going just for all of those Lotus V6 sales....LOL

In all seriousness who actually knows what their long term plans are now, I certainly don't. The Lotus pivot to all an eclectic Emira replacement is clearly being rethought, this may extend the life of current engine offerings while they develop a new hybrid based vehicle. Lotus has a ton to figure out between punitive tariffs in the EU/USA and poor sales of their all electric vehicles.

At this point who cares about the V6, I'm just hoping that Lotus is able to survive as a viable company for the next 10 plus years!

@Nova has been keeping track. the table in his bio or chat history

Shout out to Nova, still one of my favorite moments of this entire Emira experience was seeing my VIN on his list!

Local dealer just mentioned V6 for 2025 model year must be ordered at latest by March for an August/September delivery. Then the V6 will be order-able for 2026 Model year which will probably open up in the usual late summer/fall but nothing specific. Didn't hear anything about the V6 being discontinued.

Perhaps Lotus is just cycling V6s at beginning of the year and then switching over to i4s at the end.

Just ordered my V6 manual Emira over the weekend, with an order confirmation coming today (Lotus Charlotte). They heard nothing of the V6 ending. Right now the allocations are open for V6s for a bit longer, sounds like Lotus is cycling between i4 and v6 build allocations, which makes sense. They v6 orders were previously closed while they ramped up on the i4 production.

FWIW. I just got this from my dealer. If you want a V6 Base, You need to do it now as order deadline for dealers is Feb 15

"I was just told by LOTUS that they are limiting production of the V6. We are assuming engines are dwindling. Because of this, THIS IS THE LAST MONTH TO ORDER A 2025 V6 EMIRA. I have until Feb 15 to place my orders.

This will come as a surprise to most of you, who were prepping to place an order later this year. Welcome to Lotus.

More iterations of the Emira might be in the future, including hybrid, for now we will only have the Base i4 AMG production to look forward to next year."
I saw my dealer yesterday and he was given allocation mapping for Canada for 2025 and into 2026. And I was surprised when he said there are some allocations for V6's for 2026. Not many. Not sure how that can be if Toyota is not making the engine and there is limited supply. Only time will tell. But anyone wanting a V6 manual better get their allocation ASAP as until yesterday I heard the same info that if you had not allocation and locked in your spec by Feb 14th your chances of getting a V6 were slim.

Yes, There MAY be further V6 base allocation for NA if there are any leftover after the rest of the world put in their V6 base order later this year. How many (if any) is the question as the last shipment of 2GR-FE from Toyota is expected by Q3 2025.
