Has anyone heard the Base audio system?

I've found a car on the other side of the country that checks a lot of the boxes for me but doesn't have the KEF audio. I can't seem to find any information/thoughts/opinions from somewhere who's heard the base audio with their own two earballs. Anyone heard it in action yet?

Isn't that a good thing? to not have the KEF system? and assume it's a V6?

I see folks complaining about the KEF not being as good as they expect but if anything that makes me fear more for the base system. I’m curious how the base system compares but I’d definitely be surprised if not having the KEF is a good thing. In any case it can’t be worse than my Exige

I’ve not heard the base system. I assume it’s a downgrade from the KEF. However you should be able to upgrade with an aftermarket system that sounds better than the KEF and costs less.

I have the KEF system, I'm a big audio nut, I happen to be one of the few that enjoy the KEF system. I drive the car mostly with music off. If I listen to something it's usually podcasts or just the navigation system. I typically don't like the car's stereo interfering with the car's own noises, which are much more enjoyable to lo listen to. So to me, a car with a base audio system would not be an issue if it checked all of the other boxes.
