Help with offset and colour choice on Aerie V2 Wheels

As per the subject, I’m trying to decide what offset to go with on a set of Aerie V2 rims. That’s my favourite style they offer I think.

Currently running 12mm spacers all round. Standard spec is:
Front: 8.5x20 ET 57 (ET45 with Spacers)
Rear: 10.5x20 ET 54 (ET42 with spacers)

The current setup (12mm spacers all round) pushes the fronts just a fraction outside of flush and rears slightly inside flush. My car is lowered circa 10mm below standard, but I could very likely fit coilovers sometime in the future and go a little lower. Lowering does bring the wheels inwards.

I’m tending to 1 of 3 options:
1. Stick to the effective offset I have now with 12mm spacers on STD wheels.
2. Run 10mm (2mm less than now) on the front, 12mm on the rear.
3. Run 12mm on the front, 15mm on the rear (3mm more than now).

No, the I4 sport can be lowered around 10mm by moving the circlip on the shocks. Not a big drop, but it’s noticeable.

Was das Thema betrifft, versuche ich zu entscheiden, welchen Versatz ich für einen Satz Aerie V2-Felgen verwenden soll. Das ist mein Lieblingsstil, den sie anbieten, glaube ich.

Derzeit laufen rundum 12mm Spacer. Die Standardspezifikation ist:
Vorne: 8,5x20 ET 57 (ET45 mit Distanzstücken)
Hinten: 10,5x20 ET 54 (ET42 mit Distanzscheiben)

Das aktuelle Setup (12mm Spacer rundum) schiebt die Fronten nur einen Bruchteil nach außen und hinten leicht bündig nach innen. Mein Auto ist ca. 10 mm unter dem Standard tiefergelegt, aber ich könnte sehr wahrscheinlich irgendwann in der Zukunft Gewindefahrwerke einbauen und etwas tiefer gehen. Durch die Tieferlegung werden die Räder nach innen gebracht.

Ich tendiere zu 1 von 3 Optionen:
1. Halte dich an den effektiven Offset, den ich jetzt mit 12mm Spacern auf STD-Rollen habe.
2. Führen Sie 10 mm (2 mm weniger als bisher) auf der Vorderseite, 12 mm auf der Rückseite aus.
3. Fahren Sie 12 mm vorne, 15 mm hinten (3 mm mehr als jetzt).

Meine Emira ist mit dem Öhlins-Fahrwerk von JUBU ca. 30mm tiefergelegt !!

Bin gespannt, wann die Felgen kommen und ob das dann so passt !!

I was also considering to go wider rims, but wasn’t sure as not heard about others doing this. I need to look at your numbers and see where that places the outside edge of the time. With 12.7mm wider rims, you would need to reduce offset by approximately 6mm to maintain the same position of the outside face of the rim.

I think your wheel specs are ok. You’ve pushed the rears out equivalent to 15mm rear spacers. With a more stretched tyre, it should help with clearance (not that there would be a problem anyway).

Do you think the wider rims will improve handling, or this is more for the look?

What wheel colour did you choose and on what car colour?

Ich habe dieses Off-Set gewählt, weil ich die Optik (die Felgen werden nach meinen Wünschen mit mehr Konkavität gefertigt) verbessern möchte.
Meine Emira ist Osmium Silber mit Black Pack. Die Aerie V2 Felgen habe Ich in Schwarz Glanz bestellt !!
