How many Emira owners in SoCal?

Just installed 3rd cat delete w/ miltek valve control and Eventuri Intake. Car sounds awesome and felt lot of torque added on higher rpm. Is it intake? Or 3rd cat delete? Next is lowering kit w/ 10mm spacers and CT body kit. I'll post more photos when I get it done hopefully next week.

A1 automotive looks to be a great shop with lots of lotus experience but price was bit high. Oil change was $240 when I got mine done and when i asked for other installation quote, price was ridiculous high. Except for the oil change, I got mine done at technic automotive where I got my PPF done. Also 365 performance in Pomona was my regular shop for other vehicles I owned.

I’ll plan on joining.

Also, if anyone is interested open invite to join me at Plume Cigar Lounge in Yorba Linda after this car meet for cigars.

I’m planning on going to InoKinetic tomorrow morning for their first “2econd Saturdays” meet. I might take Ortega highway to add more break in miles.
Is anyone else planning on attending?

Hey ya'll. After seeing outofspec reviews do a full paint correction to an Emira, I want to get mine paint corrected (then will promptly PPF afterwards). Any really top notch paint correction shops around LA anyone is familiar with?

Check out PFS in Santa Ana if it’s not too far from you. They have done a lot of SoCal Emiras, mine included. I had two step correction done, full body PPF as well as ceramic coating. Highly recommended

Just saw my first Emira in the wild (not at a dealer). Santiago and Wanda. Was that you?
it wasn’t me, I haven’t had the Emira out for a week or so. There’s another out here among us!

Took Delivery of mine this weekend. Another yellow car in the OC! Mods to come! I have lowering sleeves, valve controller, decat arriving soon! Also got custom wheels coming, but that will take time... I will be doing 12mm hubcentric spacers from GRP in the interim (new product, will be available in 2 weeks)

For you SoCal guys, recommending A1 Automotive in San Gabriel Valley for Lotus work, ask for Harry.

I just got the 3rd cat delete, K&N filter and break in oil change done. He is widely recommended on LotusTalk, owns an Elise and Exige and has worked on a lot of lotuses including the evora. It was fun to talk cars and tracking with him. Surprisingly, my emira was the first he has serviced.

He was knowledgeable, cared for the car and solid prices. It was worth the 1 hour drive for me. Glad I found him!

Funny thing is he’s running an ordinary mechanic/smog shop. They are not specialists but he happens to be very experienced with the Lotus platforms. I think that’s why his cost is better than dealers or specialist enthusiast oriented shops.
