I4 Delivery Date USA/Canada Updates

h22hatch Loc the Lotus DC GM is pretty plugged in, based on the screen shot above he might be able let you know if your car is on the the Water. I ended up ordering mine from lotus Philly as Loc was out of town when I wanted to place my order. I'm ~30 cars behind you from a VIN perspective.

lol Loc is who took my order. I tend to check in with him every couple of months to see what the latest is.

Right there with ya buddy…. I am 4068.

I just found this article by Car and Driver, interesting that they say the 2.0 is 'new for 2025'. So it sounds like our i4s will be 2025 models? Although odd that they call the 'SE' only available in select markets.

Has been discussed elsewhere in the forums, but all the US FE cars will have the 400hp spec, matching the new 'SE' in other markets. Going theory is that all US FEs will be 2024s, even if they're delivered in 2025.

What’s amazing is every article discussing the Erima I4 Turbo (even most recently), re-states the 360hp of the I4. You would think that these magazines/articles whose job is the have correct info/research and details, still don’t publish the correct 400hp number for the incoming I4’s to the USA. This information has been public for months. It baffles me that on the forums and the dealers know this, but the magazine editors don’t? 🤦🏻.

In at least 2 instances, the reviewers add correction of hp/tq numbers to reflect 400hp for US cars.

It's been confirmed at the top, middle, and bottom that US cars are getting 400hp and recalibrated DCT

Curious, can you link or tell which article. I have yet to ever see it. The lotus home page reflects it under “specs”. Not an article by any magazine…..

The fact US are getting the 400 variant is a small miracle in itself and can be chalked up to the delays......patience does payoff!

Anyone talk to their dealer about price adjustments?
I for one am not happy about taking delivery of an already 1 year old car.
I wait 3.5 years, and now I get the "privilege" of paying sticker?
If I went in a year ago they would have it marked up because it's "brand new".
But delivering a '24my car in '25, and no price adjustment the other way?
This is going to be a major sticking point when I talk to my dealer.

I basically asked this question- why pay full price for 24MY - why not cancel and purchase a 25MY. Response was the 2025MY cars will be $10k more with options. Let me know how your conversation goes.

This sure does smell like a class action lawsuit for Lotus on the horizon...
