Instant weight loss and no strict diet with Tillett Seats!

Hi @Steve Tillett ,
Have you managed to clear the remaining error codes, or at least figure out what they were?
No sorry, I am still waiting on others. Electronics is not my bag. Don't worry, as soon as it gets it solved I will be telling people.
Hopefully GRP is still working on it. Honestly, the notification lights on the dash are a thousand times less annoying than the marshmallow seats.

That’s a B5 carbon GRP seat with two blue suede stripes. I will get a photo because it is still in the showroom. I couldn’t find a picture of that one. Basically you can dream up what you want within reason.
The most difficult thing is matching specific colours when the customer is not in the UK. We do have standard stitch patterns like diamonds and a hex pattern which have a fixed price and a choice of thread colour. Leather, suedes. All of which have to be quoted when you request the design. Embroideries are possible too. If you go through a dealer for example if you are in the US. We will still work with you to get the panels specially made. Normally a request to Leanne at [email protected] is the best route and she can send you an order request form where the office will price up your request but we may suggest a local dealer if they have what you need in stock. Then the panels are easy to retro fit as they are on a thin composite matched shell.

Can the pads be made thicker for those of us vertically challenged? I want to eventually get a set of B10s for better support but not necessarily for a lower driving position. From what I understand even at the highest rail setting the B10s are still about 2in lower than stock? I’m 5’7” 145lbs

I guess it’s possible to spacer up the runners to lift it. The seat sits on a steel spacer at the front anyway. You could put an inch spacer under all four points.
We can do thicker pad set. We would use firm 1 cm foam. More than a cm will start to loose the specially crafted shape. You will get the edge creating lumps then.

Yes, it depends on how much you would need it lifted but for example, an inch would almost certainly need longer bolts and make sure they are good quality. Use 12.9 ones for the M8 rear bolts.

on the photos it already looks like the headrest part is close to the roof lining, lifting it up by 1inch or more will make it touch it or is there a substansial gap still? Im also 5.9 and think the current setup will be too low for me aswel and will also needing it to lift up, however I would aesthetically not like it if the headrest area is very close to the roof.

Steven could you please take some pictures from headrest level or mid level up? Most pictures are take from above that shows the entire seat it the but yet have to see a pictures that faces up or is mid level of the seat to have a better view how it sits in the car. Thanks

That brings up a pretty good point about "room" for some kind of tilt forward mechanism. It would have to have a tight enough sweep that it does not hit the roof while pitching forward. Likey not possible.
