Instant weight loss and no strict diet with Tillett Seats!

These seats are a must have for anyone who tracks or does canyon driving.

@GRP Would you happen to have an update on the status of airbag light workaround for the passenger seat? I believe you have a workaround for the driver's seat already, but waiting on the passenger solution. Thanks!

Any update on seats that tilt forward for access to the parcel shelf?
No, sorry. It will be a long time before a product that tips forward appears. There is too much other development stuff that needs to be done first.

We were trying to get parts from Lotus to make it happen for the passenger side but they finally came back with "we can no longer sell the individual components, you will need to order a complete seat which will include everything"
So we are now trying to get with an electrical engineer to help out. If anyone has a good connection let me know!
We have the components from our stock seat out of our shop car to use to reverse engineer.

Let us know what you need from our stock seats to make this happen when you have a solution
Thank you for all your hard work Greg

@GRP I'm assuming you are looking for the weight sensor in the passenger seat? My Porsche has a flat panel in its carbon fiber bucket and I'm guessing this "part" can likely be had from a few places in a generic form. Happy to help research if that is the part you are trying to source.

@GRP For those that aren’t local by you, Is there anything this forum can do to support you? I’m sure there folksreally looking forward to having this solved. Happy to help in any way I can

We have a stock seat here to dissect since Lotus wont sell the parts on their own.
The problem is that it isnt a simple voltage signal that needs to be reproduced or a resistance trick like most cars. Lotus has the weight sensor converted to a digital signal to be sent to the SRS unit and that is what's beyond my scope electrically. So we really just to get with an engineer, get them the components and a car to make it happen.

Leave it to Lotus to get creative here. I would have expected it to be simple electric/voltage change signal as well. @GRP Good luck! You definitely have several of us rooting for you on this one.

So... To clear the air bag codes, I decided to give these a try. They confirmed via email that the kit will work on both the driver and passenger side with the weight sensor. I assumed that the green plug would connect to the one that comes out from the seat belt receiver. However it turns out that both plugs are female... I've emailed them for help and will see what happens...

Did Jubu test these on US cars? I was under the impression there’s no way this would work on cars with occupancy weight sensor. I hope this isn’t another issue like the ECU where it wasn’t tested on US cars.

The euro system is most defintely different than the U.S. system so the same kit will not work on US cars and solve all of the codes. - just the airbag and seat belt buckle ones.
We have had someone install our drivers side kit on their passenger seat in the UK and it worked so the Euro version is much easier to deal with. I think Jubu maybe assumed they were the same.

I think works in AsiaPac and Europe but not on US cars, Greg would have already figured out if it were simple fix. Fingers crossed though!

Ah! I had assumed from his profile and situation that it was just USA.
