Still the same Dark Verdant UK number plate display car?

The interesting thing is whether the Emira V6 is now through the regulatory process and can be registered to drive on Japanese roads & streets?

After this happens, deliveries to waiting customers in Japan can start.

Anyone here who knows where the Emira is in this regulatory process?

(In the USA there is a prolonged and serious delay)

I went by Lotus Harajuku yesterday and its still the same loaner on hand. The green looks amazing since I’ve only seen and driven the Hethel yellow in the states.

Chillin at COFFEE LOTUS (コーヒーロータス) in Nihombashi. Parking space available on nearby streets.

LOTUS EMIRA V6 First Edition

At LOTUS Fukuoka. A beautiful magma red Emira has been arrived.
Congrats!!!

This Emira is not sold yet, I think.
You can buy one🤣

I found the number stay which is fit to Japanese (ugly) number plate.

This will be on display at Lotus Fukuoka starting tomorrow.
Other dealers may start displaying it soon.

I wonder where the plinth and bracket was installed. The cars on the docks do not have them.

Perhaps the base of the license plate looks the same as the international model.
Only the part where the license plate is directly attached may be different for each region.
However, I don't remember how it was attached to the bumper when I saw it.

The mounts need to be region specific, but the base is probably universal. The EU and UK bases are attached using screws. If possible, I would prefer to hang the plate from the upper part
of the bumper instead of having it stand on the lower lip. This would only work on non-ADAS models.

That's right, the plinth is universal and is held by 4 screws into the lower lip of the bumper. The bracket/plate holder is country specific.

I've been told cars being shipped to the US will have the plinth and holder as a dealer-fit item, as some states don't legally require a front plate. In countries where it's a legal requirement Lotus are fitting them before delivery, either at the factory or when imported.

Seneca Blue is now on display at Lotus Osaka!

Is the car at Lotus Osaka / Jiron-Auto for display-only, or can you sit in it?

The number plates in black don't look that bad, but wonder how it will look with the standard white plates...

Probably not available for test drive.
The exhibition is limited to May 14.
Fukuoka and Nagoya East will be open until May 21.

The exhibit will also be on display at Nagoya Higashi from tomorrow.

I haven't seen the blue in my person. Is it close to Daytona Blue?

Hope it will help you. ( thanks for borrowing @forest san's photo )

Not bad. It looks... normal.

However, I plan on using the pink variants on my Dark Verdant car :D

I went to Osaka LCI to talk to them.
I was not able to test drive the car, but I was able to sit down and start the engine.
The Emira on display at various locations is on loan from Tokyo LCI and will be returned to Tokyo in mid-May.
They will probably be modified for Japan in Tokyo, and after approval, they will be delivered to all over Japan again.
They are currently awaiting approval in Japan and delivery will probably begin in late May or June.
The SOS button needs to be changed to a dummy button.
However, the person in charge said that the muffler will remain unchanged.

The license plate seemed to be bolted from inside the bumper.
