Japan Winding Road Drive: Ome -> Okutama -> Kofu - Sunday March 30

As we can all see, the weather has taken a turn for the worse with rain, and possibly snow (especially toward the mountainous regions of Okutama) today Saturday March 29.

Still the forecast is for no precipitation tomorrow Sunday March 30. Either sunny or at worst cloudy. One concern is whether rain or snow falling today will be left on the roads?

I have enlisted Corey Bennet as a volunteer local guide for our drive since he lives in Ome and regularly and frequently drives in the area we are planning g to drive through. I will be in close touch with him today Saturday March 29 to monitor conditions to evaluate if our is still safe and viable.

I plan to post an update tonight (Saturday 29) around 10PM.

I think Virtualmacho as well is monitoring the situation, and I will also be coordinating with him about every forecast and prediction of what conditions actually will be like, especially in the Okutama region that we are planning to drive to.

Ich fragte den Besitzer. Er benutzte einen Ölmalstift, den er bei Amazon gekauft hatte. Das eigentliche Gemälde stammte von seiner geschickten, geduldigen und verständnisvollen Ehefrau.
I asked the owner. He used an oil based paint pen bought on Amazon. The actual painting was done by a dexterous, patient, and understanding wife.
