Now that JUBU has some working sessions with the first batch of users to fix their issues, do you think we can get an update on how things are going with them?
@hellasf1
Yea I posted a long update couple pages back, idk if you read all that yet.
Recently I had a remote session done with Rene to add “OEM” overruns back in. He also made some throttle adjustments while he was doing the overruns, not related.
The throttle adjustment he made has made it drive even better! He said he made the response quicker and little more sensitive. It’s perfect IMO!
As far as the overruns, it’s about the same as OEM overruns.
It does overruns by itself around 2k and under but over that I have to engage very little throttle to activate. Which I don’t mind.
From what I remembered on stock ECU with my full Milltek system with 3 cat delete and controller I would get overruns lower in the rpms. For example if I was in 3rd and let off at say 6k rpm I would NOT get overruns. Idk about everyone else.
He will do another one that’s louder than the one I have which is OEM level loud maybe slight louder right now, but not annoying by any means.
I did use LC with a draggy but really wasn’t ideal temp as it was 60 degrees. Anyways I did 3 runs and lowest I got was 4.3 highest was 4.5 but I was spinning for at least half a second maybe more. I do believe if it grips off the line with LC sub 4’s no problem with this tune. I think 3.5-3.8 would be realistic in ideal conditions. I don’t have a short shifter yet which will help.
So I plan on getting a SS and then doing it again hopefully on a nice 80 degree plus day. We all know this car isn’t for drag racing at the end of the day. There are other test like the 100-200 which would be more ideal to test difference between stock and this 440.
What I can say as I said before, you can definitely feel the strong power! It’s linear and pulls all the way to 7,200 (I have the 7,200 you can opt for 6,800 if you want) 2nd gear is really improved as stock it felt really low in power compared to the other gears.
Let me know if you have any specific questions!
