I just upgrade mine to jubu440 with the latest firmware however with some problems. I went thru the engine bay and coster me like an hr and many scuffs on my arms :) its possible and if I have to replace I will do it quicker

From hellasf1 posts with all issues I have the following points: 5, 9, 10, 12, 16, 20, 22.

overal on a positive note, it starts and runs without problems. Looking forward to have the fixed with a remote session once they are done in the US.View attachment 53444View attachment 53445View attachment 53446
You are now officially a true modder. I've been modding cars for over 50 years and this is proof of how it always goes with "quick and easy to install" lol.

I did leave out that Rene was wearing a long sleeve light jacket, so I think we need to add this part of our “tool” set lol

I have done it after installation but before final tuning from JUBU. See my post on what have you done today
That's an impressive result! Even considering that results can vary between dynos and other environmental factors, JUBU appears to conservatively represent their packages. It also shows that the 6800 redline is holding the car back. It is tricky to compare to other dyno results that have been posted because we aren't able to see a baseline with the standard ECU on the same day in this case but still good to see.

Yes talking to Rene (tuner), their numbers are worst engines so that’s the bare minimum.

He gave me an example as he said we have done some recent 460 kits and dyno has shown 490 on a few of the cars. TQ will still be capped until you do the 500 plus kits which strengths internals. This applies to the 440 kits as you can see in the dyno.

Yes as far as dyno it’s so hard to compare to others who have done stock and just intake. Drivetrain loss calculations if different.

I have a draggy I will try to get some times, wether permitting. Weather has been cold and the cup 2 tires don’t help. Hagerty got 4.1 on their track on perfect conditions. With LC I think if I can hook up (that’s the only issue)I believe I can hit 3.7-3.9.

I say around those times bc I had a Giulia QV prior and I would be 3.6 on avg 0-60 but obviously automatic. The EMIRA now feels like that but will see if my butt reader is accurate lol. I might have the LC adjusted down lower bc 3,500k rpm might be little high but idk haven’t played around with it much. 2 times I’ve done it wheel spin for sure, once in track and once in sport both 60 degrees out, not ideal. We all know it’s not a 0-60 car so numbers at the end of the day won’t matter to me on 0-60 bc I’m having more fun in the EMIRA than any other sports car I’ve owned. But I will report back when I get some ideal times just for fun!

Also they are working on no shift lift for none build motors which would help that time. But the biggest upgrade would be their final drive which shortens the gears. In their words “the final drive with the 460 kit makes this sports car a TRUE supercar.”

Obviously a big install.

Just got an email from Martin this morning on discounts and pricing updates.

“I had a meeting with Syvecs in UK.
All ordered (and paid) ECU kits in 2024 we can do 15% at (10 pcs batches) discount.

In 2025 the price will rise and we drop down to 10% discount.”

I don’t know how much the rise will be from Syvecs.

Those that want to pull the trigger in 2024 please DM. Name, email and phone number and I will start to do a group buy list. I think we can get at least 2 groups of 10 before the end of the year based on when the forum was stated and everyone’s time voted. Maybe even 3 groups of 10 will see.

@hellasf1 have we figured out vat and the crazy shipping cost yet?
Shipping will depend on your location. It was $220 total shipping for me, my order was ECU plus their cooling kit so that adding little more cost. Then got an invoice from customs which was $191, which I believe is based on total value of what’s being delivered.

That's way better than the amount we were seeing before.

Yeah all the internal updates. So hardware will be what the first group all had done by them flying to us. There might be remote updates over time. Let me ask them if they have the details on future updates via remote session.

Does that mean it’s now genuine plug and play?

I’m keen on the 440 upgrade but not until there’s no issues with the install.

Lucky you. I paid 300euros shipping to Dubai.. don't ask me why just a small box of ecu and I have paid 600euros in customs and vat (5+5%) this is because they used UPS.

Greg from GRP has send me approx same amount of stuff for 70usd shipping with fedex it was quicker delivery for twice the distance and never had to pay customs and vat.

Yes, but there is always a chance you will need to do a remote session to adjust and dial in. All major issues we had are resolved. Only thing left in January update which would be remote update is for speedlimiter and +/- buttons for cruise control. Thats it.

They are closing their company at 19th of December until 6th of Janury 2025 for the holiday.

Trying to confirm when we need to have the last orders in for the 15% and lower Syvecs for 2024. 2025 only 10% for group buy and Syvecs is raising their pricing!

I think they really need to work on shipping. I’ve ordered from them before and it almost seems as if shipping cost is about 20% of the value of the item I ordered which happens to be the VAT we’re supposed to be saving. I’ve ordered much larger, bulkier parts from other vendors in Europe and shipping has been significantly less.

Yeah I agree, if you have a recommendation I can bubble it up to them.

Yeah tell them to charge less 😂

But seriously, they could be more transparent because it feels like we’re being upcharged. Maybe they should look at other carriers like DHL or a different UPS service level. They also charge a “customs fee for export” but then I get hit with a separate charge from UPS for import duties 🤷‍♂️.

Between that, the credit card fee and the high shipping cost, we’re over the 20% we would have saved by not having to pay VAT.

One more question. I may have misread and I can’t find it now. Were there supposed to be hardware updates to the Syvecs unit next year?
