Back of the passenger seat seems better, no? Then you can just reach it without getting out of the car or fussing with the seat. (Either way, remembering it is there is the hard part)
Maybe. I'll mock it up with both and see what I like better. If there is a fire I'm definitely getting out of the car either way :)

Modern problems require modern solutions.

Temporary padding, @Steve Tillett is gonna love this.

You will find it much better with the panels. Using the seats raw in the road gives a bit too much feel. On a track uncovered is fine but I always recommend panels for the road.

Is that a sample from purple mattress /pillow? :ROFLMAO:

I was shopping for element fire ext. sticks but a lot of stores say they can't ship/sell to California  Even pelican parts in CA can't ship to CA, what?

They actually sell seat toppers for chairs and stuff so I just grabbed one and slapped it on top while I wait.

The element thing must be new…

While I was waiting for my custom padding to come in I decided to design and print out some padding for a B10 with some 85A TPU, it's certainly interesting. I've been playing with various thicknesses and gyroid infill percentages -- it's allowing me to tune the thickness and density of various padding areas to match my body - just an interesting experiment.

Now if you could print those in WHITE!

My initial experiments in density and thickness were in white so it definitely could be, but like I mentioned this was just out of curiosity, I think 85A shore is still too hard to the touch, it needs to be closer to a 50-55A shore.

The inspiration came from a more practical take of the theory 1.

The problem is when a pad is hard the edges often can cause a problem. Sometimes we can take two mm off the composite and the shape goes from uncomfortable to comfortable.

I played with chamfering as well as the shape of the chamfering at the edges at comfortable angles in the print design, especially at places like the hamstrings where they're heavily supported. It's been a fun experiment even if I fully plan on using the custom pads you guys are making for me :ROFLMAO:

I guess one day we might 3d print the whole seat.

Kitkat,
do you have a solution for the passenger side AIrbag/occupancy sensor?
Sorry I don't, I'm only an amateur at canbus communications, I have no access to wiring diagrams of the Emira, and I'm not familiar with SRS communication systems -- so I don't see myself attempting to fix it myself -- I'll have to wait for someone smarter than me to figure it out. In the mean time I just have a piece of black vinyl sticker covering the two icons the airbag errors raise.

Supposedly Jubu has a working fix for their seat but I'm not sure they'll divulge anything.

If someone had a spare sensor and an oscilloscope it wouldn't be impossible to figure out the "no occupant" vs occupant signal.

Honestly, if that level of understanding could be achieved you could restore factory operation but have it based on seat belt detection (assuming there's also a passenger sensor) or ..worst case, a switch in the glovebox.

Though I don't think there's many people that would complain with an "always on" function.

To those of you who may have melted your Milltek Sport Valve controller for the Emira by mounting it behind the license plate.

1.) Disconnect the connector to the module.
2.) Remove the melted case.
3.) Check if it still works with the case removed, if that's the case you can keep going here below, if not you need to replace the module.
4.) Print out the following case.
5.) Assemble with 4x #4-40 5/8" screws.
6.) Optionally, seal your valve controller and connector area as they are not sealed from factory.

Alternative DM me and I can print one off for you for $35 shipped inside the USA, it will be printed out of PET-CF filament which is good to 400F, STEP files attached below for those that want to print their own.

I didn't melt mine but Migz did so I designed him a new box for the PCB with his help on taking measurements on the circuit board.
