Komo-Tec power phase released for V6 Emira

It got up to 468hp and you didn’t feel it??
Yeah this surprises me as well because that's an increase of 53 ft lbs of torque over stock. With that much of an increase, the car should have launched like a rocket. Is the increase only above a certain rpm?

This were numbers before remote session… after the session everything was shit and my friend with stock emira 1on1 when we did the test

Some of these tunes limit the torque in the first 2 gears to protect the gearbox. Was this the case? I’ve heard that the Emira gearbox is a little fragile.

You’re right these are within 20hp of bone stock cars — that’s a lot of money to pay for very little gain.

It has a lot to do with torque, which is what the Emira needs more of. Torque is what gets you off the line and moving. Just out of curiosity, I pulled the stats for the Emira vs the C8, some Porsche's and I threw the Alfa Quadrifoglio in.

As you can see, the cars with the least amount of torque had the slowest 0-60, even though they were also two of the lightest. They were both manuals too, which shows the advantage an automatic can have. You'll also notice the two cars with the most torque had good times, and even though the Alfa was the heaviest, it had the most power and that gave it a decent time.

Gearing has something to do with it too, but the Emira could really benefit from more torque. Once you get above 3k rpms, it pulls quite well so it has power, it just feels soft until you get to 3k, and 0-3k rpm is where your launch is and most of your 0-60 times are.

A mate of mine has a 2023 manual Cayman GTS and using a Draggy meter said the average 0-100 kph he gets is 4.4. I checked on the Porsche site and that says 4.5. I have no doubt there are variables like being run in, tyres, whether etc., but he said he has never gone below 4.38.

I do think its a question of gearing as commented previously but also no point in being a 0-100 warrior with a manual car unless you want a clutch bill in the near future.
I still can't wait to see the first person to get a built JUBU 600+ engine with an Audi DCT. That launch would be insane.

I got those figures from Car & Driver, but I'll correct them to the ones Porsche claims.
