Someone mentioned these wheels on an older post, but they are very expensive, but very light.
Deciding on whether to get 18's in the front and 19's on the back. If someone figures out how to remove the parking brake then it would be 18's all around to choose from a wider selection of slicks. I want the Forged Magnesium wheels and I'm hoping someone here has a source that can copy and make these in the sizes and offset I will want. There are very few wheel companies that make forged magnesium wheels. If not, there are other levels less expensive, but are not as light. Help me make a decision

The red colored carbon fiber overlay would amazing with my Magma red automatic

So in UK money about a ten grand. Ouch !!
Would love a set, but no way I could justify that expense. I'd be better off spending less than that on driver training

That was me that posted about litespeed racing. First thing you have to decide is what's your budget. That's going to determine what you get more than anything else. Their Mag+ monoblock would I think be the best ratio of weight savings to expense, unless you have an unlimited budget.

If you contact @Aerie who is one of the forum sponsors, they can make pretty much any design you ask for, but it would be forged aluminum. They'll be lighter than the factory wheels, but they'd be under $3k, at least at the moment depending on what happens with tariffs. I had them make a custom set (factory dimensions) to a design I wanted which ran about $3,300 including shipping and everything. All 4 wheels combined weigh 23.5 lbs less than the factory wheels. They're factory spec 20" though; if you get 19" wheels or a staggered 18/19 setup those will be even lighter. Just make sure you have tires sourced in the sizes you'll need before ordering wheels.

The litespeed wheels would be about 18 lbs lighter for a set than a forged aluminum equivalent from Aerie, but they'd be triple the cost. Depends on what you want to spend, and your performance goals. Another thing to consider for a track set, is replacement cost for a wheel if you bang one up. If you go staggered, you could have another full set of Aerie wheels for backup and still be thousands less than a single set of litespeed wheels.

I have 12 years track experience and 25 years karting experience and attend national karting events. Tires, wheels and brakes are the most important factors. Then aero and suspension. I already know other than the 25 horsepower gain I have now that I need to shave weight so Tillett seats will go in as well.
The Emira can take tight turns faster than my NSX because it weighs 700 lbs less as I have learned. The lightest wheels would be the icing on the cake and hope just like Aerie can make the forged aluminum ones that someone knows who can make forged magnesium wheels for a better price.
Even better if they can copy a wheel with the exact offset I will want.

Good deal, then you'll understand and appreciate this, which is my working plan for weight reduction. I currently have everything on that list installed except the CCB brakes, which I just received yesterday. I don't have a heated garage so I won't be able to install them until it warms up, but in addition to the reduction of unsprung rotating weight, I won't have the brake dust issue anymore.

Would rather get fully floating 2 piece metal rotors because they will be cheaper to change.
GRP titanium exhaust system...Check
Eventuri....Check

For track use yes. I'm doing a street build; not going to take my car to the track. RacingBrake makes 2 piece iron brakes too.

They weigh more than stock rotors. Have you or anyone tried these racing brake rotors?

I just received their CCB rotor and pad kit, literally yesterday. I haven't had the chance to install them yet because of the weather. Today's high was 26°F and it's going down to 17 tonight. I don't have a heated garage, so I'm going to have to wait until closer to spring when things warm up before I can install them.

I have a full set of their 2-piece iron rotors on my 2010 SS Camaro, and they've been great.

Their front iron rotors are bigger than the OEM factory rotors for more stopping power, which is why they're a couple pounds heavier, but the rear rotors are lighter.

You can not go smaller than 19 inch wheels in the front with RB and AP racing rotors.
Who makes a 2 piece floating iron (steel) front rotors that allow an 18 inch wheel to fit in the front?

Why wouldn’t you be able to put 380mm under an 18” wheel? I’ve done this before on 6 piston stoptechs — with room to spare. The 18” on the Emira on the other hand is a challenge just because of the rear emergency brake.
