Lightweight battery

Would the button on the battery work too if you don’t want to carry the remote?
It should, but if your trunk was closed when it drained, you'd have to access the emergency pull cable to open it, since there's no keyed latch access to the trunk.

It probably would work, but do you really want to have the aluminum bracket glued to the battery lip, instead of just glued to the aluminum bracket? Also, depends on the type of double sided tape you plan to use. I don't think it's a matter of the battery's safeness, as they are well insulated, but the Emira's trunk does get very hot and, over time, the frequent exposure to the heat, could deteriorate the foam type, thus my suggestion to avoid it and opt for a rubber type trim instead.

Something like this from Amazon would work great...

This worked perfectly btw. I put 1 strip on the upper lip and one on the angled lip but the angled lip I put in 3 pieces as it has those indents. Battery is snug and doesn’t move at all.

And about a week of sitting, no issues started right up. I check the connection and the negative terminal needed just little more tightening, I did that when I installed the strips. So the 40 is more than enough.

So weird, this is my OEM battery vs Anti 40AH and the 40AH is losing power from start of the drive to the end.

Has anyone gotten this detailed on their battery? Is this a 40 not powerful enough or is this a bad battery

Have you reached out to the antigravity or where you got it from? I’ve had the antigravity 40ah on both my lotus cars including my Emira and it’s been great with no issues

My Antigravity drained once on me some time ago, but I was my bad, and Its remote kick start feature worked flawlessly to start the engine. It hasn't lost charge since then, even without needing tender maintenance, and btw, I drive the Emira only sporadically.

Looks like a warranty claim I have to fill out a form and ship the battery to Antigravity. Question how do you guys make sure ECU is asleep before disconnecting the battery?

I heard after the trunk is open a doors closed and it’s unlocked wait at least and hour. Others I heard it has to be locked and you wait at least an hour. Which is correct before I uninstall this battery?

I'm not absolutely sure, but 1 hour sounds a bit excessive. The only reference I've come across regarding battery disconnect waiting time was when I changed the haptic steering wheel buttons for the GRP press ones, where they recommended waiting 5-10 minutes before disconnecting the airbag module. It seems to me that total power cut should safely be reached in no more than 10 minutes.

Yeah I never have gotten a clear answer. I don’t see anything in the manual either

Where did you see that blue screen? Are you using the Bluetooth battery tracker to check the levels of the battery?
That was from JUBU remote session I had and he saw that and let me know. I’m glad thou bc I wouldn’t have noticed it unless he told me.

Overtime I’m sure I would have but maybe it’s not taking a charge from the alternator while driving idk. Antigravity will do some diagnostics on it bc my OEM was good and normal.

I don’t like that I have to pay for shipping to them. I feel that should be on Antigravity.
