Manual opening of boot( trunk)

Can someone please post a video of how to open the boot from the interior of the car behind the passenger seat . Apparently there is a manual way to do it . I’ve just taken delivery of the car and the boot is stuck shut . It was ok on the first day but not now.

One latch; centrally placed..........bump stops on sides.

I have found if you press down hard on the boot while pressing the release on the car fob the latch will usually release.
This works if the boot is closed but the dash indicator says the boot is open
