FYI, charging plug is now factory installed. Along with a Lotus branded charger. There are also velcro straps on the left side to secure the tire service bag, kinda hidden away.

That's actually how it's always been, at least for US-market Emiras. They come with a factory charger and the extra service stuff secured in the trunk. Part of the official PDI process is for the dealer to install the battery charger leads.

My car was delivered in April (CARB state) with all of this stuff. Later on, there was supposedly a shortage of the battery chargers, though, so I guess some people didn't get them initially.

That’s a new battery tender style
Good eye. I wonder if the change over to the new style caused the supposed shortage.

Also, I'm pretty sure my service stuff secures on the right side of the trunk. OP says theirs is on the left, so I guess that may be a difference, too.

Anyone have a recommendation for a portable 'Power Station' that can fit in the trunk and power the trickle charger?

Mine didn't came with a charger and the dealer supplied it later during a service visit. I guess the dealership pre-wired the kit during PDI?

this isn't accurate. My Emira came with the trickle charger, but it wasn't wired to the battery. The new owner has to do that on their own.

The Lotus supplied charger has a pigtail connector that easily attaches to the battery and can be fed through the top of the battery cover for convenient access. It's a 10 minute job with simple hand tools if your dealer hasn't done it pre-purchase

No clue. I have it set to fold in the mirrors when I lock in the door and a few weeks ago, I noticed only the drivers' side mirror was folding in. If you touch the passenger side mirror, it feels loose as if it isn't properly secured. No scratches or impact to mirror that I'm aware of.
My car did the same thing shortly after I got it. After driving it a little and opening and closing the doors, it self corrected. 3 months later, it has not happened again. Gremlins?
