I agree but IMO if you want to track your car go with Cup 2 they are great on a track. I have Cup 2 on my Evora GT but going with Goodyears on the Emira

Magma Red
Black Pack
Alcantara with yellow stitch
Leather steering wheel
Diamond cut wheels
Yellow calipers
Michelin Cup 2 tyres

June delivery.

Was thinking I should change to the Goodyear tyres considering the road conditions up here but all locked in... Hopefully will be able to pick up a set of the Goodyears soon enough, dry weather driving only until then I guess!

Whist the Michielns retail for more money they will invariably need replacing sooner, and does anyone actually know the cost of a new set of Goodyears since they are bespoke for Lotus. Most importantly, you'll lower the likelihood of sliding into a ditch in the wet with the Goodyears. P.S. Great spec!

The reviewer really annoyed me when he said that the Touring suspension was the one to go for. How would he know without trying sports?? It's as if Lotus are feeding them what to say, as there was nothing new in the review. Just a hunch but I think Lotus want the majority to pick the Touring as it's less expensive.
I think it’s more likely that they don’t want a bunch of unhappy people on social media claiming that the Emira rides roughly and is a terrible car as a result. The 992 GT3 is a great example of pushing a bit too far- most reviewers agree that it is no longer daily driver capable, it’s just too stiff now.

Evora GT 410 Sport is far from GT3 ride stiffness I believe

Homelink is a free option now???
Does this mean those which have locked in without it get to miss out on this aswell??

Another grand F$%k up if thats the case

Yup I'd say unless you are defo going to track your car they aren't worth getting. If you are then get them upfront and put to one side and then buy Goodyears to use as daily tyres in meantime

I didn't know it was free until the dealer called to confirm my spec. They just asked "Do you want to add Homelink as it is "now" a free option. I said yes.
