Removal of fugly warning stickers on Sun Visors?

I removed mine by soaking cloth in 99% wiping alcohol and covering with plastic bag. No glue was left behind but be patient and wait a good 15 mins or so to sully release the sticker.

Maybe in the UK the stickers are attached in a different manner. U.S. stickers do not come off when they are soaked in alcohol, or other solvents. We used to be able to get these off, but I'm sure our government enacted some program to ensure they are extremely difficult to remove.

As Rapture mentions above, the stickers in the US are mandated to be "permanently" fixed by federal regulations, to ensure (or make it practically impossible) to remove them without damaging the visor, so in the US, most of these stickers are practically baked into the visors. I happen to also own a car in Europe where I've removed the corresponding warning stickers using a light solvent w/o leaving a trace.
