try these guys, not sure if they ship to UK - had a couple friends use them and worked out well. It is grey market. They have a store in NYC.Not really in to watches, but tried to order one for the wife this week, needed in 2024. It seems it’s more selective than car buying, politely had the door slammed in my face, seems the only way riffraff like me can buy one is by paying three times list price on the grey market, which I will never do. Looking forward to the next year and what it may bring to these arrogant bastards

PP 5267-200a-010/Which watch were you after? They’re usually less stuck up with ladies’ watches, unless you’re after the likes of a 7118 or 77450.
Nice. Should be able to get one next year, if things keep trending down as they are.PP 5267-200a-010/
That’s encouraging, thanks for your time, and I think you may be right.Nice. Should be able to get one next year, if things keep trending down as they are.
I was offered a 116503 (traditionally low demand model) a few weeks back with no prior history and <1yr wait, so things are definitely looking up for the average joe.

I’ve been offered an appointment at one authorised dealer, but they have said that model will not be offered to me.
like you say, the times they are a changing
Inspired by another thread an -so- close to going off topic (in the "how to moderate the moderatos thread" ... ), I thought its a good idea to keep this topic active.
Picked this up today. Stunning value for money and such a nice watch. An entry level drug that I'll recommend to everybody who wants to tap their toes into this silly addiction.
Sinn 104 on a leather strap.

Supporting local business... that's what I tell myself as well Lovely model though and look great on many straps and that's a lot of cheap fun in itself!@Leonard really cool watch as well! Is it a Zelos? Don't think so but it reminds me of a watch I nearly bought from them. If it's not a Zelos don't look them up if this one on your post is up your alley Stunning colour as well!
I bought the Sinn new, the 2nd hand prices are very close to what you buy them new for. Sinn also doesn't really do discounts but I got a nice bottle of wine with it. Bought it at a small shop here in my hometown. Which also has Grand Seiko... (Spring Drive GMT ), so the Sinn was the reasonable way out.
I think it's definitely slowingAnyone still buying luxury watches? On the list for a Rolex Daytona and GMT but thinking of only one. Seems like people have slowed down the purchases of luxury timepieces.
I think it's definitely slowing
I doubt anyone is turning down good Rolexs though!
Pics when you get them and any other faves you may have
Nice like those a lot, lot to be said for a travel companion and a watch for best only.View attachment 21289
These are my favorites. The Omega has been with me all over the world (45 countries) and the Rolex is for special occasions or to wear around locally. Definitely wouldn’t turn down a Daytona, and perhaps GMT.
I feel you. I would like a GMT to travel with- very useful to keep track of different time zones as I now rely on watch and phone to do so. But truth be told, not sure if it’s a good idea traveling with a $12K watch, even if it’s insured.Nice like those a lot, lot to be said for a travel companion and a watch for best only.
I got the Explorer for travel, really wanted to get some proper use from it, but even though its an entry level Rolex I must admit it still feels a bit bling to be wearing everywhere....
