U0109 - Fuel Pump Communication

I had that once, did not occur again.

You have several ECUs that need to wake up and sometimes communication between them is hindered for whatever reason.

I figured. I'll let the control modules settle overnight. It'll probably be gone tomorrow. If not my trusted 10mm is gonna have a little talk with the battery and I'm sure this will convince ECU to reconsider
Thanks for the heads up!

Like @TomAce foretell it cleared itself and didn't come back yet, so gonna file this under "Just Lotus things" and carry on 🤣

New week - new code!
Anyone hit U0109 yet? Persistent over multiple starts.

Additionally I got a weird noise from the front I've yet to investigate. Reallly hope there isn’t a correlation..

Car runs fine without any fuel cuts or similar for now. Gonna go with the obligatory battery reset first.
I wonder if this fault could be connected with the cold start stalling problem? I had cold start stalling though this seems to have gone away since a software update late last year. Don’t remember seeing any fault codes after failing to start first time. If the engine did stall at first attempt it always started second time.

I just got this same CEL code.
Popped up after a very short drive.
I cleared it, so we'll see if it pops up again.
This is the first issue so far with my Emira; I'm beyond break-in period.

Code came up. Car runs fine. Brought it in for service and Lotus dealer has order new ECU.

I got the same code yesterday. 1 minute after cold start - I hadnt driven the car for 3 weeks. Not sure whether this matters. Car drives fine with no issues.

Mine shows up at least once a week. Brought in for service but dealer could not replicate the check engine...
