Waiting for the email with the identification check
Just done my identity check this morning, email arrived at 10.25, nice straight forward app , wonder when invoice will land ?

Identity check complete!
The race to be 1st auto delivery continues.
Anyone managed to get an insurance quote yet? Hope I don't pay for the car and then find out it is £10K to insure it:ROFLMAO:

Just completed mine too, it didn't like my driving licence, but happy with passport.
Another step closer

I tried a few sites, still only showing manual , or the auto option was shaded out. LV didn't seem to have a manual/auto option, but as I haven't got a tracker fitted they wouldn't insure me ! One of the best prices i have had for a "manual" was with Saga at £530 @ 8000 miles HG postcode.

Just completed my checkout email, the wait is nearly over.
Now if they can just sort out the type approval 🙄🤔

I did checkout earlier today - how long until ID verification email sent through?

I got some manual quotes from Confused recently to check anticipated figures and my best price was RAC at £335 (age 59, 8,000 miles and 20+ years NCB. Car kept outside on drive, CW12 postcode).

Finish line email has just arrived and it says the next step is to arrange a delivery date. I expect that they must work payment back from the delivery date (either 7 or 14 days before perhaps). Plus, I expect they will need my paperwork for my registration transfer at some point.

Sorry to say you are late for the race!
It's in Spain since March 3rd 🤣🤣🤣

John be interested what you feel the Emira is like compared to your Alpine that you had - have you sold your Alpine …..
Yes, I'll post a report and include a comparison to the Alpine and also my Evora 410 Sport which was also auto. I sold the Alpine about 3 weeks ago. The Alpine dealer in Manchester offered me the best price for it and it diappeared from their website within a week, so I assume they sold it (unless it went elsewhere in the network). It is showing as not taxed, but perhaps someone has put a private reg on.
The Alpine was a great car.
