It's supposed to be 2 weeks for the checkout window, but if you have a valid reason why it needs to be longer then you can ask for an extension.

I bought a Macan from a Porsche dealer about a month ago and paid cash. They sent me my invoice a week before collection and said it needed to be paid the day before collection. The invoice had all the required bank details (name, sort code, account number) and it all matched when doing my secure payment online. Why are Lotus not making it that easy?I think you’ve missed the point i’m making though, the process Lotus set up should not look so shady. It should also not have any risk involved in it. ie, a new random mobile phone number and email instead of the customer service number we know is them. Or even just a bank account that can be verified as them..? Pretty basic stuff. I could have written that process down and ended my message that it was a scam and it would have been believablethat’s a problem when you’re transferring £75k
