Update on the full Larini V6 exhaust system

AT least the GT prices are coming down like all the rest of our cars...

Anyway, update on the exhaust.
500 miles in on the can and it is bedding in nicely.
A bit deeper even and the deep crackles are lovely on lift.

Best thing is the amazing noise and you floor it past 5000 up to 6800.
Wow.
Still happy to take anyone out in the car if they come to west surrey.

You only got the axle-back package yes? I don't see anyone selling this. Nothing listed online anyway.
Thanks for the videos. It sounds awesome. I'd be curious about what the exhaust does to the warranty as well, but haven't seen anything on it.

Shouldn’t affect warranty.

Now it's a matter of finding it for sale.

I have decatted midsection and the rear box.
Only thing left standard is the manifold/headers and the valve.

It will affect warranty. Can is more responsive and faster BUT there might be some wriggle room and I retained the original parts if the worst happens.

Workshop installed Larini exhaust and decat pipe. After reving the engine we get engine warning and limb mode. Max revs limited @ 4000 rpm. Does anyone has a solution?

Did you touch the valve controller during installation?

Was the engine fully warmed, coolant/oil; limited as you noted if not, I believe...........

Based on what I've read, it probably needs a calibration for the valve flap position. Only dealers can do this, but it's fairly easy.

Nova is likely correct. This is my fear about replacing the 3d cat and box. Even if I don't replace the valve controller, if it is not seated where it was a shut down, my understanding is (read EmirOfDenmark's postings on this) that the car will throw an error. After that only the dealer can reset it. Not only is my dealer a three hour drive one way, he may not want to touch the car due to aftermarket parts. Nightmare.

Yea, I seem to remember that it's very important for any aftermarket exhaust to have a valve flap attachment and position that is *EXACTLY* the same as OEM.
