USA/Canada Delivery Thread

If I were to place an order today for a V6 Emira - would it be for a base V6 model, or would it be for the First Edition 2.0 V6?

Saw my baby this week - finally in the flesh. Hopefully be able to drive it home Thursday or Friday. Very excited! See you in the other chats.

unless you buy an orphaned First Edition, your order would be a base modal

tho some dealers seem to randomly have extra FE allocations so wouldnt hurt to call and ask. chances are low tho

Because of course the Atlantic Star, which was supposed to offload in Baltimore on the first, is now delayed until the 5th. Who's conspiring to withhold my car?

Looks like I am in your inner sphere. I reached out to my dealer as when to expect the first shipment of V6 automatics. He then reached out to his Lotus representative and I may have been ghosted.

Has anyone seen this from their dealership? It says an AS IS - No dealer warranty (brand new Emira).. I thought it would be a Dealer Warranty. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I am filling out the paperwork now.

? As far as I know, manufacturer's have warranties, not dealers for new cars. My guess is it has a normal warranty most of us would expect.

Yup me too. Spoke to my dealer over 2 weeks ago for an update. He told me he’d reach out to his contact at Lotus to find out where in the chain my car is. Still waiting to hear back..

I asked about a week or so ago. I was told August to September for the first V6 auto deliveries to start arriving. This is the same thing I was told 6 months ago, so I took it as "we have no new information from Lotus".

I have a buddy getting an auto and he finally got a response (kinda) but not super useful. Last month he was told it was in production and when he checked last week, evidently it was still in production. I know he asked about timeframes about shipping (no answer) and if Lotus backtracked on MY25 (no answer). So really no details.

This is the correct answer. You could ask the dealer and have them confirm too.
