First, it was not hindsight. What I predicted before and what people are receiving from Park Place are consistent, not contradictory. And I just analyze what members are reporting from concrete evidence. Scott's email, azlambo and migz's factory visit reports, and VL3X's screenshot from the production line. How is that cherrypicking? That's some good cherry picking hindsight. I am glad you turned out to be right, of course, but there was a lot of conflicting and uncertainty to the information being shared.
There is still a lot unknown about the current situation. We don't know if all 700 cars have been produced. I hope that they have, but do you trust a dealer's claim on this?
This is not a pissing contest, we are not in middle school.

ImportGenius info is delayed, unfortunately. I don't think they list anything until a shipment has arrived.Possibly try here in a few days? https://www.importgenius.com/importers/lotus-cars-usa-inc
Will these cars, assuming they arrive in Nov/Dec be 2023 or 2024 cars?
or does it depend on state

I think it can slightly impact resale value as the perception is that it's "newer". Can't think of another advantage.I often see this question asked, don’t have an answer for you — but i’m honestly just curious as to why it matters? Is there some sort of advantage for an earlier or later year?
That's incorrect. For a 2025 model year it must be made by January 2024. Porsche does its MY change in August.. So 2024s have been rolling off the line for a while now. Lotus already confirmed that USA FE is a 2024 MYIt was said earlier by Lotus that NA market cars will start with MY24, but it's unclear when MY25 production will start. EPA controls this based on production. A model year must include Jan 1 of the year. So a 2024 car's production must include at least Jan 1, 2024. This means MY 2025 cars can only start on Jan 2, 2024 - but whether Lotus does so is up to them.

As somebody who knows nothing about this, just a guess - FE V1 & FE V2 to be 2024. After that 2025That's incorrect. For a 2025 model year it must be made by January 2024. So are you just planning on flipping then -- locked into a deposit or something?Yes this was my thinking
Sorry, what? A 2025 car has to be made by January 2024? Where does that requirement come from? That's incorrect. For a 2025 model year it must be made by January 2024. I’m in the I4 camp in DC and was told my I4 will be here in March. Congratulations to the first group!
