As if Emira ownership wasn't rewarding enough!Elisa Artioli sat in my Emira!
She was doing a talk about her life with the Elise (at Bridge Classic Cars) and how her grandfather named the Elise after her.

I have used Barkeepers Friend with great success-all corrosionn/rust removed.....The sun was out this weekend, so I finally crawled into the boot and fitted my GRP short shifter kit, and so far my TLDR review is that it feels great. Generally much tighter feel, and 1-2 is very much improved, which is a nice surprise. The most invaluable tool in this endeavour was a magnet-on-a-stick, as I dropped the cotter pin right as I was finishing up
While the covers were off, I also spent 30 minutes scrubbing the surface corrosion off my supercharger with an electric toothbrush and some metal polish
Didn't come up perfect, but a lot less manky than before...

Fair shout. I actually ended up giving Peek metal polish a try, and was pretty pleased given the nearly-zero effort I went to this time. I'll probably give it a more serious go when I next work on the car (and maybe test some BKF).I have used Barkeepers Friend with great success-all corrosionn/rust removed.....
