What did you do to your Emira today?

My new Donkey Badge, 3rd Cat Delete, and Miltek Valve Controller. Sounds amazing!

I fitted a discrete AMG badge to the front grill
I also fitted red stuff brake pads, they are almost dustless have a better bite than the originals and don’t squeal.

Cheers ALB

The sun was out this weekend, so I finally crawled into the boot and fitted my GRP short shifter kit, and so far my TLDR review is that it feels great. Generally much tighter feel, and 1-2 is very much improved, which is a nice surprise. The most invaluable tool in this endeavour was a magnet-on-a-stick, as I dropped the cotter pin right as I was finishing up 🙀

While the covers were off, I also spent 30 minutes scrubbing the surface corrosion off my supercharger with an electric toothbrush and some metal polish :D
Didn't come up perfect, but a lot less manky than before...

Fair shout. I actually ended up giving Peek metal polish a try, and was pretty pleased given the nearly-zero effort I went to this time. I'll probably give it a more serious go when I next work on the car (and maybe test some BKF).

Autoglym is pretty good

Today I broke down at a stop light. Lots of metal clunky sounds from the transmission area. The car shifter can shift but car doesn’t engage any of the gears including reverse. So if I put it in 1st, and slowly pull out the clutch the car won’t move.

We had to push the car to the position it’s in now.

Hopefully this isn’t a bad repair. And is covered by the warranty

UPDATE to the break down. One of the Axle Shafts snapped clean off and nothing else was damaged. The part is coming from the UK (but apparently a few have already been shipped) Lotus has seen a few of these - whispers of a potential recall - Will keep you all updated!
