Will you ask why the FE V6 is being launched with only 400HP and not at least with the 416 of the outgoing Evora GT? And if there will ever be plans to release the i4 AMG with a manual box?

A fair question it could be an official “400” but like some other manufacturers it’s putting out more than advertised. The 992 carrera 2 as an example outperforms its official stats. Will ask the question
The torque number suggests it is the 416 as this also has 420nm
Ps I suspect the AMG will only ever be DCT do Merc offer manual ?

If the green looked like that I would have it. But I don't believe it will. Ford Tourmaline green I was told was a close match....

Another colour that will look only so so in British light/weather. None of the colours are bad, but they could have been so much better
I’ve been totally sold on Nimbus all the way through until these new pictures came along…….. after seeing the new body frog, it’s the magma red. No more Nimbus in Notts
Yes know exactly what you mean very tricky grey metallics are everywhere but nimbus does show the Emira lines well
Will be plenty of aftermarket versions if not. Bought my black versions for my first Evora from Lotus Silverstone after losing two of the yellow ones on a certain long toll circuit in Germany

Does anyone have any idea of the shade of red used for the calipers - does it work with the red paint or does it look a completely different shade in same way as yellow paint / yellow calipers?
Hethel visit report !! Just back after a great afternoon and time well spent with the Lotus team and Scott Walker (UK Sales manager) who’s a 25 year veteran of the company.
1) Verdant green. I’ve got some pictures which I hope helps. I was told they aren’t changing this but the swatches need to be looked at in the sunlight to get a true picture
2) 400 HP V6. Don’t have any answers on this as to why not 416 I’m afraid but suspect it still is underneath..
3) Scott Walker indicated FE V6 cars could run into 2023. The new factory is still under construction and I personally think there’s a lot still to test, commission etc. This suits me as I’d assumed a 2023 delivery but I guess we’ll wait and see.
4) IPS vs manual isn’t a compromise from what the team have told me and shouldn’t impact residuals as this is a GT car as much as track weapon for those who want to. If it’s an occasional car manual but everyday IPS or i4 DSG is their view

agreed, definitely a great afternoon, the passion from Scott Walker and the rest of the team was definitely evident. Luckily only a five minute drive for us, had wondered how many other forum users were present
It's in the V6 FE Specification document. It looks like it's going to be a gloss red and so compared to the metallic of the Magma Red will look different texture-wise. The colours are quite close but not identical.
It's down to personal preference rather than a right/wrong answer. Black or silver calipers look good on a red car too but all four are suitable.
Here's the extract of the caliper colours alongside the Magma Red sample and a Fire Red car.

Before I went to Hethel today I was pretty much convinced I would choose Hethel Yellow for paint, but after seeing swatches I can definitely see the clash between the different shades of yellow for paint/caliper/badge,
But after seeing the new Magma Red swatch I am beginning to sway that way, with black pack, and perhaps considering yellow calipers and alcantara with yellow stitching just to mix up colours a bit. And would definitely swap out the lotus badges on wheels for a black style badge too.
