Anyone received their 30 day notification yet?

Off topic I know, but I have noticed on the UK site, the performance figure has been adjusted to 0-60 4.2 secs for the manual car. No longer stating anything for the Auto, which previously was showing as 10 NM more torque and 0.1 sec to 60 quicker

Meanwhile the I4 has the * to say target performance 4.2 secs

They adjusted the emissions figure a few weeks ago without telling anyone. I’ve asked if they can confirm the other key spec numbers now that type approval has been done.

I wonder if that means the auto hasn’t got type approval yet?

If both the i4 and manual V6 have the same 0-60 times, that would be interesting since the i4 has 40 less hp. Has to be gearing ratios in the trans. I wonder what the i4 would do if it had 400 hp, or 450?

0-62 mph is still 4.3s so no change. I guess they just wanted to use the lower number for marketing purposes as it looks better.

Could be. That would explain why you cant get an insurance quote for auto, currently manual only on insurance websites.
I got a quote from the guy i use for my other cars. Took a few days. Its a V6 Auto ....................

This thread is going off piste . It's 1st Aug and still no one has had a call.
there will be no calls until the emails are sent out... which we have been told will be, yet again, this week. Specifically thursday is what I was told...... but I am not waiting standing up

Actually, once again...... slightly bad news, but believe it if you want to..and dont otherwise, from 5 mins ago:

"your UK car is showing as September PTS as before – we’ll have more communications going out next week with our updated build plan (it’s now being updated weekly as parts supply remains critical, as it is for all manufacturers)."
and this is from a level way higher than CS... so still maybe wrong, maybe will still get emails this week, but maybe not...... I don't care who you are, you just never can tell with these guys, unless you speak to the actual person hitting the SEND button, and EVEN THEN, you still dont know. I just repeat what I was told, and I wasnt even asking about delivery of my UK car actually.

Who cares any more.... main thing is I get to see my 1st Emira on Saturday and drive the damn thing, and make a fool of myself on the advanced course. Have been told there should be quite a few Emira's on site... a hopeful sign, but we know the showroom/test cars are being made now anyway.

I don't know who to believe these days. Maybe an email will come this week or maybe next or maybe in September.

I did have some sympathy with the situation due to all the supply chain issues and the complexity of continually re-scheduling production. And it looked like they were trying to improve comms, from the Matt Windle video and statements from senior people at Goodwood. But the regular string of broken promises since mid June about when we'll get an update is just shambolic. Every week since 16 June I've been told I'll get an update "next week" then nothing arrives and I ask again and it's "next week" again.

There are plenty of part-built customer cars on site now, as they are building what they can. But as we've seen and heard, they're missing multiple parts or have interim incorrect parts fitted: badges, wheels, washer filler cap, exhaust finishers, sun visors etc etc. Hopefully fitting these when they arrive is a short job and they can get the cars out quickly.

I'm sure you'll have great day on Saturday.

all agreed 100%.
I actually asked re my EU lhd car, which was Sept build, but as per Uk cars has slipped 2 months to November build now, so a nice Xmas present by the time it gets to my hands and feet.
EU cars will be made in parallel with UK cars, so not effected any more than UK cars, its just that, as you know, they were always going to start them later than UK cars.
So I think for EU orders first deliveries will be just before the end of the year @Bilbao-Emira ... not great weather wise, but gives you something to do, trying to wrap it up in wrapping paper.

@emiraspain Pictures/Vid of DV please from your trip Saturday would be great! Also try to compare the tour/sport for the road. Besides that enjoy the drive, love hearing back from forum members about the car!

Looking fwd to receiving my 'Friday special' with parts still fitted from various Vauxhalls as they have been missed at QC 😂

On the LHD cars, I know several of the mainland European dealer demo cars have been built at the same time as the UK demo cars, so they should be appearing sometime later in August.

There was also that Facebook post over the weekend from someone in Belgium saying they'd been told their car was on its way - although he never replied to clarify if he was a customer or dealer.

It's a difficult situation for Management. If they admit the supply chain is in chaos and totally unreliable concerning supply to schedule then customers may walk.....if they just give bland promises that lead to nothing then people get frustrated but may hang around.

I do know that the supply chain is in flux and chaos as the Chinese Govt imposes lockdowns at short notice. It's impacting raw materials as well as production at subcontractors. Certainly, the global car manufacturers have sway but even they have severely cut back outputs.

I do wonder if European producers are now realising local sourcing albeit at higher costs is a strategy worth implementing.

But Lotus need to update soon, bad or otherwise, or frustration will surely become damaging in many ways......I have two other cars on order, one with delivery as a moving target ( Porsche ) and the other with a 1st quarter 23 claim (Ferrari). If Lotus stay schtum it becomes a matter of 'what's the best alternative'!

I agree, what to do?

In the meantime enjoying Evora....

This was my update from 20th July , no reason to suspect any change, he says hopefully !

Good afternoon
Thank you for your email.
The factory is 6-8 weeks behind on their production schedule. We last updated you that your car was due for build in June, so it is now scheduled for 6-8 weeks later than that. This means your estimated build month will now be August.
We will send out official communication in the upcoming weeks to confirm your revised delivery estimation and provide further information
.
