You’re right, changing the UK dealer model and not replacing it with an effective comms channel hasn’t helped. But non-UK dealers also seem to be being kept in the dark, so it’s not just the change to the setup.

I was an early pre-reveal deposit holder for the Evora and the pre-launch comms by Lotus was many times better on that. A shame they’ve missed an opportunity with the Emira.

I wonder if we are all a little too close to the product for too long, we analyse every rumour and story and the general feeling I get is fatigue and a little frustration because of the way Lotus disseminates information, I'm especially thinking about the FE colours as an example. As early adopters we take the good with the bad

But taking a step back It won't be long now before we see a production car review.... And It's going to be ACE!
Bang on - many of us have been so close to it for too long. In a few month's time, when you are threading the car down your favourite B Road, revelling in the steering feel and amazing handling, with that glorious V6 howling behind, you are really not going to give a monkey's about how good or bad Lotus comms has been up to now.

The dealers here in Dubai have been excellent I have to say. They get bits of information now and then but make an effort to keep in touch

I agree with the driving part. It'll be if you need warranty work or are also in the queue for Type 132 that you may have some ongoing concerns about comms :)

Now I've read a lot of the posts it's clear there is a lack of communication. I'm certain that will change over the next few months. Plus we all need to eye ball the colours......the latest configurator is good but no substitute for see the flesh.

For me (and others I am sure) this could very well be the last ICE sports car I ever get to buy new. I want to keep it for decades, like my wife. This is why we hang on every detail, because want to be sure it is a marriage that will last. 😀🚘⛽
im into the unfortunate habit of trading wives in like my cars....

very costly
