Emira should have started with 450hp.

I do feel a little embarrassed to say the car has 400hp, based on what I will be paying vs much cheaper cars with more. It won't be faster than a lot of cars, but should still be fun.

The thing is, all of us FE cars, are over paying by 15k of what the car will sell at in the end, as we want it now! Its really a 65k car, plus extras and hence at that price point its the best 2 plus 0.5 car out there with 400hp, looks wise too. If this was a real issue, we should wait and get the none FE cars a year later.... but I am 90% happy with it, power, looks, handling I am pretty sure will be good... quality, i am 75% sure will be good.

How do you figure we're overpaying by $15k??

You're in Spain, so I'm not sure if you're talking about different figures, but in the US:
i4 Base: $75k
i4 FE: $86k ($11k more)

V6 Base: $83k
V6 FE: $94k ($11k more)

It's an $11k premium for FE. For that premium you get a lot of included upgrades/packages. These can be seen directly on the Lotus site:

I don't think we are overpaying and if some are (relative to what they'd spec in a Base car), it's probably a few grand at most. The pricing for FE seems fair to me, but we'll know when the cost of options come out, won't we? :)

I feel 400 is ok

I think 360 sounds a bit naff for the i4 though and wish it started with a 400 as well
