yes, by a clear porsche fan....
it could just be pure curiosity at this point for some..but thats enough to get prices high temporarily.
Harryy's video later could make a few waves and increase the interest for a while also... until evo get it again and detract....again

The Emira can attract (long time) owners of 911s by its much more exotic looks and simple technics. I can see it in the way that my Emira interests far more people than a (usual) 911.

Is that released later today???
Excited much....I'm so sad....and don't care

Exactly. Former 996 owner, turned 991 owner and recently sold the 991 to make way for the Emira.

911 is of course iconic but the exotic looks of the Emira make it a very interesting prospect.

Also....911 gearing way too long to enjoy on the roads and wayyyyyyy too much tyre/road noise (refer to Harry's first Emira driving video here he makes direct reference to this).

Are you hedging your bets with England and Spain???
hah....
i would not like spain to win..... I would like england to win, and with no one playing that well, it could be a good chance, but southgate needs to up his game.... not what I would call a tactical guru

Sure that yellow one that’s for sale on collecting cars is on tick tock

if you just search lotus Emira it pops up

Not that I was buying the Emira for resale value, but I was really expecting the first few cars (especially given the delays) to be flipped for quite a lot!

It doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. I can’t see the car going up £10k+ in the next 10 hours.

95 I reckon… a lot of the cars on there add 20% or more on the final day

But then it did get a lot of interest on the first day so perhaps most of the interest has passed…

It's an Auction site, you just never know 🤷 I've seen cars go for what I thought was crazy money and others not make a reasonable reserve. Personally I think if it makes £84.9k which is £90k when fees are included, that's a 10% overs which is reasonable. Any more and it's doing well. It's not a Porsche GT3 RS 😉😉 and numbers are not going to be that limited.

@emiraspain It's 78K currently with under 20 hours... what is the final prediction? I think just under 90K.
Anyone who knows auctions, knows the last hour is when the serious people come on board, IF THERE IS SERIOUS INTEREST....
So yes its very possible the car will increase by 10k... so far, its mostly chancers that have bid.

I predict 93-96k final price.
Personally, although the custard fans will disagree, I feel the colour is holding it back. Yes there are yellow lotus's and there are in fact yellow porsches and taxis in New York and Bogota, but that doesn't make it a "popular" colour. Most people would not buy or want a yellow car and so its quite possible this car struggles a bit, but that the next one, NOT yellow goes for more.
The first Ariel Nomad on CC was black and it did not reach 50k, yet an OLDER car, same spec, but in Orange, which happened to be the release marketing publicity colour, reached 64k the following week!!! Believe me as no I am not a doctor, but one of the cars was mine.
I wont be home at the end of this auction, padel class, which is a shame as it may be as exciting as the england france game. It is actually quite important as the final price will dictate the reserve for the next person to put their can with CC and it will also help define the used car prices, BUT naturally this could vary and I repeat, yellow is not going to get a premium IMO and I say that as a previous yellow car owner, not a yellow car hater by any means....

Yes we have to bear in mind that there are about 53 porsche dealers in the UK! They can sell each and every car they get allocated and when it comes to 911's and the special editions (the FE is supposedly a septic edition also), they can sell probably 7 to 8 to 10 times their allocation!
There are not even 20 Lotus dealers are there, official ones, and Im sorry, but they simply do not have the same level of interest, despite what we think within our world on this forum. There is demand, but its weakening with delays, finance rates, debatable initial reviews, lack in quality CS and initial teething issues, which in general their competitor corrects before releasing cars and their QC is simply on another planet compared to Lotus's.
Having said that, as I have always said, I would be amazed if the first 5-10 cars cant turn a decent 10-15% profit. If they dont, this really looks bad for the rest who will certainly loose money as soon as they take delivery, something no one wants to see so early and with an 18 month waiting list....
fingers crossed

I'm with you on the yellow colour, not my personal choice and despite Matt saying it was popular for Lotus cars, I suspect that's not in the UK, probably the Far East market.
Think the launch Senna Blue should do well. ;)

I think it’ll sell for about £95k.

I don’t think later conventional and auction sales will go any higher than that. UK customer deliveries are starting to flow, several early recipients are planning to sell their cars, it’s winter and the economic backdrop isn’t great. It won’t be a rare car and it’s not a good time to be selling. A handful will get overs in Dec/Jan, then it’ll be selling near list.
