The thread you referenced talks about the knob on the standard transmission. The knob is threaded on, so it "unscrews" but you first have to remove a set screw. Here's a thread which may help you doing the re-install:
Super frustrated with trying to reach Raceseng - they dont answer their phones and emails arent being returned - been trying for 2 weeks. I know a lot of you have had succesful installations so hoping someone can advise. Are you ordering the knob for the Evora and it fits the Emira with no issues? Order the 12x1.55 mm adapter and good to go? Any feedback is much appreciated.

You are correct. I just read the post incorrectly. sorry for the misinformation. I need to pay better attention. I saw "shop manual" and my brain went to manual transmissionThe thread you referenced talks about the knob on the standard transmission.
I'm looking for info about the knob on the auto transmission.
It's all good.My bad as well: I see the title of your thread mentions AUTO SHIFT KNOB. This proves we Forum members who've been around for a bit and so focused on the manual transmission, will have to "shift gears" (pun intended) and realize we'll be seeing more and more postings from those enjoying the Emira automatic transmission, moreso with the i4 model now. I'll look at my shop manual when I'm home to see if I can be more helpful (sorry again).
