I think it's probably at dealer discretion, or Lotus are just a bit slower delivering them to dealers outside of UK

C4S -2 t0 2.5 degrees so took a lot of care! Roads slippery. Great car, but I still am not a PDK fan. the 4 tugs the steering at times and the car can skip even at normal speeds. My last 911 was a 997 and its amazing how they have grown. I understand why people like them. I have a deposit on a 911T with manual and that may scratch an itch but wont rule out a GTS or GT4 Boxster/cayman. Definitely smaller and more agile. Probably will take the Emira then drive the above well before my spec date and see which is the keeper.Ooh, you're going to love that... which car, the base model?
Hewn from granite without a single flaw. A 911 I can desire.. a Cayman I do not.
I’ve been looking at 992 C4s , not tested yet but they say the steering isn’t as good as the C2 because of the drive through the front wheels. Don’t hear that criticism on the new M3/4 though.C4S -2 t0 2.5 degrees so took a lot of care! Roads slippery. I had my invoice last FridayJust to say, and I dont always complain, despite reservations to the contrary...funnily enough by people who also complain.. haha.
I got my invoice today..... now I could complain, as its an invoice, and no one wants an invoice... BUT...my point is, I got it 20 days before my car is due.
This bucks the potential trend for Lotus to be sending them basically a day or few before delivery and potentially delaying delivery due to none payment. I on the other hand have plenty of time to pay ....what I dont have plenty of...is the money to make the payment haha.

It felt grabby to me in comparison to the C2 Cab I drove recently. The Emira does give more feel and confidence than either though.I’ve been looking at 992 C4s , not tested yet but they say the steering isn’t as good as the C2 because of the drive through the front wheels. That sounds like very old or poorly applied ppf.How long after the protect email would you expect to receive the checkout email ?
Noticed on the protect email you can protect the paint for £399 - 18 claims . Why would you bother with PPF ?
Dealers tell me that when reselling they often have to peel the front ppf off and re paint and polish the paint work. Have the car derailed and pay for the paint protect looks best option to me
The Lamborgini dealer told me that the ppf dents when hit by a stone so looked unsightly - only a year old car. That sounds like very old or poorly applied ppf.
Good ppf is self healing, just poor hot water over it.The Lamborgini dealer told me that the ppf dents when hit by a stone so looked unsightly - only a year old car.
Wait, is that right? I've a couple of marks on my F80's PPF but thought the self healing properties were falsely advertised.Good ppf is self healing, just poor hot water over it.
not all ppf will self heal.. but if they sold it this way, it should do so.... Sun or Heat Gun can do the trick also.....Wait, is that right? I've a couple of marks on my F80's PPF but thought the self healing properties were falsely advertised.
Oh boy...i shall try carefully. Kettle at its max . XPEL self healing as per the docs I got.not all ppf will self heal.. but if they sold it this way, it should do so.... Sun or Heat Gun can do the trick also.....
