USA/Canada Delivery Thread

As per usual I bet the only difference is the CA versions include a required French language version of the pamphlets in the glovebox 🤣 (which prevents a lot of US products being available in Canada when everybody here speaks English).

Although seriously I do wonder if there could be a slight tune difference as Canada got approved 2-3 weeks ago based on EPA, and seemingly didn’t need CARB…although couldn’t this create the same issue if a CAN car was sold to someone in a CARB state?
The EPA, CARB, and Canadian (EPA) tune is the same.

A little late to the party, but she arrived home safely. Now off to my first supercar event (20 people could register, and only Lambos, Ferraris, Maserati's and Porsche), on and then me.

You think they even know this car is on the roads now?
Would love pics and to hear about the reactIons at that event.

We do and 99.99% of us think it’s the dumbest thing ever…it is kind of silly that 0.01% have the ability to make everyone else suffer. It’s insane how much it costs to have this requirement and need fonts squeezed so ppl can’t read food and drug labels for something totally useless. Will leave the politics there 🤣.

*ok…I just can’t, without exaggeration there are more ppl in Canada today who can’t speak English OR French than those who CAN read French. Make it make sense haha.
There four official languages in Switzerland - German, French, Italian, and Romansch. I think Romansch is spoken by less than 20,000 people now. I can see both sides (cost vs. preserving tradition).

I have them for other shipments but not the first one containing 150 cars. I am too cheap to pay for it. If someone has it and can send it to me I will put them on a Google Doc and share it.

That would be great, Thanks Nova!

She’s home 🏠 🏎️

BTW, the belly pan was completely missing off the car not broken 😅, but they got the new one in and on quick.

Thanks!! Even if you don’t get the first 150 do you think you could still share the rest on a goggle doc?

So many people came over to see the car and ask questions. Many knew about the CARB issue, ALL but 1 person has seen an Emira IRL, 1 person thought it was a Ferrari, 1 thought it was a McLaren, until they saw the badges. Many were impressed and took video and pictures. There was a great lineup of cars, and to be frank, I think the Emira was the best bang for the buck and had the cleanest lines for a 'supercar' with its price tag. It gained a lot of respect today and can rally with the big boys. We drove to a taco joint, and parked (half the people left after the first meet up), and still got a lot of local attention with people coming and asking questions and saying it looked clean. They loved the color. Didn't get pics of the Ferrari (although can see on the right side of the yellow Porsche in pic when driving to destination), but the only other car that pulled up later, was the classic Lambo Diablo VT (my dream car at 16 years old), but honestly, I like the Lotus lines better (of course I am biased, and it costs 1/10th the price :). Don't get me wrong, the Lambo Diablo got a lot of attention (got the pic here when the owner and son walked out of the car when arrived late, so crowd was snapping shots), but honestly I think since the Emira is new and fresh on the streets, it edged out on pics, discussions and videos. Was a great day for the Emira and Lotus brand IMO.

I've compiled all of the VINs I could find for the US and Canadian Emira shipments. What's missing is that I could only find 99 of the 150 VINs for the first shipment dated 12/1/2023. So this list is incomplete. This list will be updated as new shipments arrive.

Awesome!! Appears mine is on there. Where’d you get this from? When I search for my vin on importinfo it doesn’t show up at all but appears on this list saying it reached US shores

You have to get the bill of lading tracking info from the carrier themselves. Some of them make it public, like ACL and WLWH, but Hoegh unfortunately only shows the first 99 lines and you have to pay to get more.

What state is your dealer in?
