What did you do to your Emira today?

What was the other software update for?
Premptive. I recall it pertained to the AC Conrols. The paperwork wasn't that specific. My Emira has run beautifully from the start.

Swapped the Good-For-One-Year tires out for Michelin PS4S
Added 12mm hub centric spacers and 40mm titanium lug bolts
My observations:
~ Absolutely zero vibration at any speed.
~ The turn-in feels more predictable.
~ The on-center jittery-ness is completely gone.
I was able to drive on the turnpike at 80mph with barely a finger on the wheel.
All these incremental improvements just keep making the car more enjoyable.

Looks amazing. How did you order the spacers, direct through PDC?

Why did you not like the good year tires?

Do you have a picture of what it looks like installed?
This image is from post #288 in thread Air Con Issue - no fix yet.
Not my car.
Neither my expectation.
I believe lotus Engineering outdid themselves. (Snark) These pieces are hard to come by ( said the dealer).
Brace yourselves: I also think the end installation is likely better looking ( but who leaves the bonnet up)? Screenshot_20240718_163114_Chrome.jpg
In that other thread you'll see the electronics meant to be protected

I ordered them through their ebay web store.
That link did not work, and I cannot find their ebay store. I even searched specifically for PCD hubcentric 12mm spacers for Lotus Emira. Any further directions? Their website does not yet list the Emira in the supported models. It does not mention the Evora, either.

After waiting a month for OEM brake pads, I finally got her back!

A month waiting for the excessive dust generating OEM pads? i’m not if you’re referring to the pads that come with the Emitas, but if you are I would say that lots of us would have gifted (or at least given you a great deal) on nearly unused ones since many of us have gotten rid of them after having contended with the frequent caliper and wheel cleaning. My calipers, like yours, are yellow and after a while that brakes dust penetrates the caliper paint and stains it permanently. Hasn’t that happened to yours and doesn’t it bother you?

Yes, unfortunately. My dealer is exceptionally picky about warranty claims, and if they didn't install new OEM pads from Lotus, they said they would void my warranty on the braking system. So I figured I would let them do their thing, get my car fully run-in (I only have 500 miles on the car), make sure everything wears in correctly, and then switch to a ceramic pad once they get the fitment dialed in on a direct replacement.

I searched their website directly and could not find the 5X144.3 68.1CB 12mm size at all. Wondering if they don't have any currently available.

EDIT: ebay link does display "Out of Stock"

The good news is that despite the minor incident, I was back out on the track shortly thereafter and for the remainder of the day. Drove back home just fine too. Love this friggin’ car!!
Wish I could approach life this way more often (honestly).

For me, that accident would have ended my day on the track, and I would have missed a good time.
