Anyone here track their Emira? If so, did you track the car 100% stock or did you upgrade parts? Particularly interested if you changed out the brake fluid, pads, tires, etc.

What is co s

What is considered high speed track? I think the most I’ve hit on my GT was 145 down to 30 or 40
If you are going from 140 into a hairpin turn that is going to be hard on your brakes lap after lap. Kind of a judgement call and depends on how aggressively you drive. If you’re asking the question I have to assume that you’ll likely be on the less aggressive side and are probably still ok. you’ll just get squishy pedals and may decide to retire earlier than running all day. What’s the track? Maybe others with specific experience can chime in.

Ah, gotcha. NJMP - the thunderbolt track

Who else has tracked their Emira on a stock setup? Debating on whether one should change ‘almost new’ brake fluid.
I tracked mine (sport with F1, 2.0 AMG). I trashed the brake pads in 20 mins. Still had brakes, but nearly new pads looked a bit of a mess and lost 50% or more on the front pads (not a high speed track, max speed circa 100mph), but I was breaking like I was in a track car.

2nd stint I went easier on the brakes and it held up ok. I’d say standard pads are just about ok, if you take it easy on them, but will fall apart quick if you stamp on them hard. F1 tyres were pretty good, but will change them out to Cup2 for next outing.

Changing out to Endless pads and race fluid for my next track day. The Emira was great on track, was really happy with it.

I’ve done 4 track days this season with the Emira on a stock setup. No issues with brake fluid. It all depends on the track - for the Emira, I have only had time to take it to Blackhawk Farms (a short, technical track).
