Aerie sold me USED Steering wheel buttons

I waited a while for these to come back in stock then waited a few weeks for delivery. Received them today and they are pretty obviously used take offs.

Their website is not specific on them being new or used, but I would assume they would be new for the competitive/comparative price they are asking.

Pictures show scratches, dings in the bezel, smudges from use, pry marks from removal from donor vehicle and old production dates.

This is my first and probably only purchase with @Aerie because of this, which is a shame considering their presence in the market and offerings available.

Bummer, sorry to see this happened to you. I ordered a set from GRP along with some other stuff, hope they don't source from the same manufacturer. Will update to see if my set come with blemishes or not. But GRP's been extremely good to me across a few orders already so I'm hopeful.

I hope they give you a full refund.

I confirmed with Greg that GRP sources brand new buttons

Do they even work? I would file a dispute via your credit card.

No clue, I’m not going to disassemble and reassemble my car to find out.

These look like the OEM touch sensitive ones, not the Individual button clicky ones OP mentioned (and GRP also sells).

Issues happen, what matters is how people step up to handle them. Supporting forumsvendors have always taken care of me. Glad to see this wasn’t an exception

Yea no company is perfect. Sometimes stuff happens and it is out of their control. As long as they make it right, and it sounds like they did, that’s all that matters. I like to reach out to the company first to see if they will fix it before posting anything about it on a public forum. I hope whoever reads this thread also reads the comments.

Aerie has been good by me. Problems fixed with minimal fuss.

That is correct. However, I threw the used buttons away after I received the refund. There’s no way I was going to install them.
