I don't remember what size the plates were under the undercarriage. Sorry brother. here are some pics from lunch give you an idea of the size of the wing. Not as big as some might think. I think its the perfect size.

This picture of the GT4 has been my backround on my desktop for the past 3 years or so, and I really love how it looks, it's always nice to see it on alternative colors, but a little to big for my taste. OP, I appreciate the extra photos you have posted to show how its mounted, that should help any perspective buyers, but take the opinions of the folk that do not care for it with a grain of salt, it's your car

I thought it was a bit big at first but it's growing on me, especially in that blue. Could be balanced a bit more with carbon side shirts, splitter, etc. No denying this variant must look pretty sick coming at you.

Just had a Factory spoiler painted and installed on my first edition seneca blue Lotus Emira. here is a picture of it after installation. It is a 3D version of the GT4 spoiler painted exactly the same!

I suppose it is, just looks like it is pushed forward. More of an aesthetic thing for me I guess. Either way, it's kind of a "ricey" wing since it will never see the track. Is that term still socially acceptable?

I don't think it's ricey because the car won't see track use. (Think: 99% of Lambo Evo models sold.) I am more concerned about the effective transfer of the load without cracking bodywork, and I don't think the compromises required to cut the bodywork to do the GT4 mount would be worthwhile for me. Glad he enjoys it, though.

Also worth noting. The GT4 wing is bound by limitations of a race series that may prevent the rear wing from protruding beyond the body work in any dimension.

That may make the wing ideal for street use as well, but it does mean for aero purposes it's not necessarily the best wing you could use.

Good point. I'm thinking here of some hypercars whose wings fold back behind the car in track mode. (AMG One, McLaren W1, etc.)

I like the looks of the gt4 wing however for me its too big so went with a more softer look.. I believe that a wing does complement the car as something was missing at the rear end.. the car design is great front and side but was missing something for me in the rear. Went for this alternative after searching for a long time, made in Malaysia from a company who makes parts for Lotus. You can call it ‘knock off’ or ‘fake’ SVJ style wing but I do believe it complements the cars body shape at the rear. In fact this wing is an exige wing tailored and renewed for the emira (centre mount in stead off two side mounts). And weather its functional or not? I dont know and dont care, i would guess yes as it was a functional wing on the exige.. maybe the body shape of the emira makes is less functional as it is not specially designed for this car. But I don't care.. for me its more an aesthetically change rather than becoming a track rat. When all the upgrade and mods are done with a new tuning company and decide to track it will most probably go with another functional one. So far enjoying it so much that I cant keep my eyes off the sleek look.
