Anyone received their 30 day notification yet?

Not to argue at all, but you really think so? or you picked it up from Matt in the video or you have insider info?
As I just wrote.. I cant see how they will get 300 cars UK delivered to customers this year... in our hands..... Impossible I feel.... I hope to be wrong. but I cant see it.

1. 18th October and NO UK dealer cars delivered or exact dates given for their delivery, but roughly told next week? They have been told several dates so far and Lotus have not complied with any of them.....
2. They are not ready to go to 2 shifts yet and we hope they dont judging by factory training taking place until now.
3. Im not sure I trust the 1st shift never mind the second shift.. ..if the first shift made my previous Lotus ;).
4. Assume 1 week shut down / glo slow for Xmas.... maybe 10 days....
5. Still seems to be taking 3 - 4 weeks after making the car to get it in hands of customer, no matter where/how that takes place ie Oxford is probably not anywhere near up to 100% speed as why would they be when they only have to check about 20/30 cars a week currently. Are they ready to ramp up to a few hundred from 1 week to the next. They also have not been flawless so far and errors have got through..
6. When the factory does ramp up and tripple current production, Matt knows there could be issues which are unforeseen and will need solving and that will slow things down again.
7. I dont think they have 100% of the parts there for 300 UK cars or EU cars and so one small delay at customs or another lock down in China or transport issue or several other factors could hinder this.
8. They have to make these 300 cars within the next 4 weeks to realistically get them ALL out and in customers hands by the 31st.
Im not arguing with you at all.... I simply just dont see it.... I think we will be lucky if 100 get their cars in the UK.... we may know more, yet again, after the next email expected next week?
Its only what I've been told but hey don't hold me to it, Us Oct/Nov delivery folk have until the 25th of November to get our check out emails thats 5 and a half weeks to have any chance of a delivery before Christmas, all we can do is hope and pray for a Christmas miracle.

really? Mine came ...two of them actually ;).... direct from Japan and to the dealer.... and to me.... no external prep at all...
When I collected the red one, I saw that there was a small chip on the edge of the door, where no doubt the person prepping / checking it had opened the door into the wall and didnt notice or care..... good old catalan customer servive (I say catalan so as not to generalize and offend other Spanish further up north.. haha, far be it for me to offend anyone.... not until at least 10am)
I´m awake!!! 🥂

Oh and I forget to say Lotus CS still think that i'm a Oct build and Nov delivery. ha ha

Thats bad when the CS for a luxury product like this don't actually have a Scooby doo.

I believe CS only inform on the information they have been provided. I'm October build/November delivery with a deposit date early AM 7/7/21. I expect ill be getting my V6 sometime Q1 2023. If the September 9 haven't had any indication of their cars being delivered its safe to say that us others are going to be delayed. I imagine there's a September 9(ish) in Australia over the moon with receiving their cars so early.

I think you will get your car before Xmas I won't as i'm V6 Auto lets see fingers crossed eh.

Just had a reply, still scheduled for October build November delivery.
I dont believe a word of it.
Really don’t think this is latest info as CS told me today no spec changes can be received as they are imminently waiting of the communications with regard to revised delivery dates.

I'm same deposit date as you, was told October build November delivery. I think that you're right about Q1 next year because, as @emiraspain says, the logistics of getting a car to us before Christmas will be nigh on impossible. I've been telling my wife this for ages but I'd like to be proved wrong.

Spoke to cs this morning and my “October build schedule and firmly locked in spec etc “ is now most probably sometime Q1. Why can’t I alter my spec !!! I was told 200-300 cars in total to be built this year but that includes everything, so can’t see many U.K. customers getting there car this year. Demo cars to arrive 1st / 2nd week November. I told them I should and would have taken the 911 GTS I had for June build if I had have known. Just be honest I said ! It has cost me a lot of money. Take up is going to depend a lot on the test drives. If the car is not right up there with expectations then folks / me included will have no qualms in cancelling. The delays and mixed reviews have raised the bar and weakened any positive sentiment Lotus may have had before. Worry is that I read on here that 2 folks who want to sell physical ( almost !) cars can not find a buyer.

And Im sure she is sick of listening to you telling her.. haha.

Hi Gary,

Thanks for letting me know, much appreciated.

Regarding Emira, I would think any time now for our demo, although they have said that numerous times already ! ..... "

Its just still amazing .... they would seem to need project managers there...... I realize things can be thrown up at Oxford that perhaps need fixing, although that in itself is worrying and you would hope no more than 5% of cars should need any further attention from Lotus, but why cant they have the dates exact now for the dealers to receive their cars.......
If a dealer, who will presumably sell between 10 and 50 cars in a year isnt being told when he is getting his car(s) then what hope do the rest of us have and even worse, what hope does your wife have of getting you out of the damn house and leave her in peace on a Sunday morning....... :)

Does that mean I have to find a mistress for Sunday morning, to get me out of the house? Oh errrr! 😊

I am in the same boat, however...

Do not lose all hope just yet, I spoke with CS yesterday and they said a decision will be made and comms out by end of this week around allowing customers that have shifted from November to Q1 delivery to make some changes/minor changes to spec.

I have requested since March to have the calipers changed from Black to Yellow. How much of the spec are you requesting to change? I suspect an overhaul of changes will probably be a no go.

I am hopeful they will allow either certain parts or small changes to specs to customers like you and I who until last week were expecting their Emira's as earliest as 1st of November.

Personally, allowing such changes would go some way to healing the wounds, all I want is Yellow instead of Black calipers, is it too much to ask to change a digit on an excel spreadsheet aha?

Just over 300 cars will be going out before xmas in the UK I guess that adds up to roughly what Matt Windle said.

Being told these are a mix of Auto and Manual V6 cars but i'm guessing the V6 Auto's will now be put back until 2023.

Has anyone with a V6 Auto had their check out email yet?
I'm an auto and no. I emailed them Monday for an update as I was october build Nov delivery and they said this is subject to change and a further update immediately? Think I will see it in 2023
