Anyone received their 30 day notification yet?

What good is a quarter?
So we're going from a monthly estimate to a quarter?

They will be getting a 4 letter word followed by a 3 letter word if I get that timeline.
My thoughts exactly, i was a Nov build and Dec delivery, as long as the car comes in Q1 2023 the latest i am happy, unfortunately there is nothing out there that i want at that price range at present so happy to wait for the time being.

I am in the same predicament, not much tickles my fancy but I am getting pissed off by the way the UK have been ousted because of what appears to be A Geely decision to get the cars out elsewhere before,no one at Lotus is going to admit that and upset their investors are they....

I was going to look at Evora 400+ editions if we were delayed again, but quite frankly I'll boycott the brand altogether now if it moves to next year,I'm tired of waiting with lack of clear dates

Edit: The Porsche 718 spyder I enquired about-i got laughed off quite frankly, despite having 3 porkers previously.
So that narrows the market even further for me

I was at my local BMW garage at w/e - he said one of his customers had taken M3 until his Emira arrives - uhm wonder 💭 if we’re going to have couple of Emiras driving round County Durham lol. Also wanted a quick test drive of the new M240i X drive but they didn’t have one in can you tell my desperation of wanting a car 🚗 considering normal cars now lol £48k with full carbon kit on. Even being thinking 💭 could I grow to like the looks of the new M2 - right size but can’t face another half a year wait - some pug ugly things you have got to love cos they so pug ugly- someone has to love ❤️ them
I am beginning to think that even a Citroën 2CV is better at getting someone around than an invisible Emira.🤣

So demo cars slipped further again …. I think Lotus should be telling us what the updates and face lift is going to look like for our 2023/ 24 cars - aged before we’ve even taking delivery
Does it seem odd to anyone else that there are 20 right hand cars built bound for Australia, but UK dealers still have not received their demonstrators.

Same odd as seen customer cars in different countries around Europe, and not a single demo at our only dealer in Spain.
it is what it is

Direction from above clearly,Geely have told Lotus to forget about the UK small market(yes I'm sure that is what they believe) and concentrate on the bigger world.

It REALLY doesn't allow you to plan anything though does it.
If I'm getting the car in March then I will go out and buy an Alpine A110 tomorrow, if I'm just told sometime Q1 2023 its probably not worth it. Could be the straw that breaks me.

Bigger profit margins down under, the homologation process is more efficient and the shipping time is the longest (~10 weeks)!

N.B. All the sensible Brits migrated to Australia anyway so it makes total sense. LoL ;)

Exactly this

Hi all I was a August build but it was moved out to October, I have spoke to cs and they are still telling me I am a October build, I watched Harry’s garage on YouTube and was happy with matts Explanation with whats been holding up production. I would really love the car in November but can’t see it happening that soon. I AM NOT GOING TO CANCEL I don’t want any other car I want an EMIRA so for all you who cancel good it will move the people who want the car a bit nearer to getting one. Me I am 64 but like a kid waiting for Xmas 🤗🤗🤗

Exactly the same as me. That A110 at Scott Hardy is calling me! Looks like we may be fighting over it - bring your boxing gloves🤣

There's a large part of me which is hoping that close inspection of the build quality and test drive of the Emira are going to be disappointing. I love the look of the thing, the performance will be adequate for my needs but I find Lotus treatment of the UK depositers shockingly poor, so much so that I'm seriously questioning whether I want to buy a car from them. For Windle to go on camera and not be truthful about why the 2000 plus UK depositers aren't going to be getting their cars anytime soon whilst cars are being built for Europe, China and even Australia just compounds my intense irritation. He could easily have said it was a Lotus business decision and they'll try to make up the lost time, but he didn't.

I am genuinely pleased for those people in Europe who have received their cars and for the people in the US who've had test drives. Good for them, they seem pleased and I'm interested in their feedback, even the US hoaxers from a month ago with what little they did say.

I'm not at all confident that the promised communication is going to be positive or make me feel any different, or that it's actually going to come at all. I do frankly need something positive to get my enthusiasm back.

Why do you hope that the processing and the test drive with the Emira are disappointing? And why are you posting something like this in the forum? Do you want to take away the joy of the many here who will soon have an Emira?
