Anyone received their 30 day notification yet?

Has anyone asked about type approval etc on the phone call - I forgot…
I did ask, but no info was to be had, unsurprisingly..... but it must now be sorted or else they would not be doing 150 cars by year end...... a lot of paperwork to do them individually.. ;)
 
Just an update. Just got off the phone to customer so called care. When I was told last Wednesday that my car was going into production on Thursday last week and delivery in November, and that was set in stone. Now they are saying I was given the wrong information and now it is November manufacture for December delivery. With this being subject to change. I am nearly coming to end of this farce. I have told them if I don't get the car before Christmas then I will find an alternative.
 
LCC have said I'm scheduled for Dec build and Jan delivery. Checkout likely to be during Dec. Dealer demo cars "imminently".

So it looks like Protect/Enhance email and Update (we'll call you) email are going to everyone in batches being built from now to end Dec, including the Update email also going to people who've already checked out.

There is a batch of cars about to be scheduled into deliveries, which I interpret as the 25-ish who have already done checkout.

A few have been told Oct build and Nov delivery. Not seen anyone so far saying they've been told Nov build and Dec delivery. Most seem to be Dec build and Jan delivery.

Edit: except @emiraspain just posted as the first I've seen with a Nov build and Dec delivery.

So basically if you were build Oct, delivery Nov you are now build December and delivery January...

Anyone ask about RRPs and Finance rates being held?
no, not necessarily..

Id say at least 30 of the October build, like myself are now November build... but the rest, maybe 60/70 odd will be shifted cosmically to December build.

1 month at this point and at that time of year hardly makes much difference and you get a 2023 car... which I would prefer and I will delay by a week to make this happen for sure, if I can. maybe not a month, but a week I would push for 2nd January for sure

You will get a call for sure... and I am sure at worst you will be november build, but you could still be Oct if you checked out.... but if no check out, then yes November build you would say.

Checked out two weeks ago. Who knows.
I do have a deadline though. My Evora is about to hit 94k miles. 100k miles on the clock is my limit!

"subject to change". I think u will be fine, they perhaps just say it to cover their rears, they didnt say it to me, BUT i didnt ask... Im sure you will get your car before me, dont worry.

I just saw and edited my post.

And correct, no explanation and no attempts being made to bring people like me and @Scruff111S into an early batch in line with our pre-reveal deposits. If it's being delayed yet again then Jan is slightly better than Dec, but Nov would have been nice.

You're likely to be in that first batch of 25 then, due to be booked for deliveries in Nov. They'll be able to confirm if you call or web chat - they answered my questions without me having to queue, but are understandably busy.

No email but I guess I am no early customer now, after stating I want a test drive first, this has thrown me into an unscheduled 2023 delivery. So I won’t be getting an email or call, as this “Priority” customer is now no more. But, I think I have been joined by a lot more after today.
 
I rang them 2 month delay on mine getting made December now from October, with delivery late January probably- I’m ok with that as long as they agree to change my blumin callipers and take off tracker
Bless him he sounded really apprehensive about telling me - probably thinking am I going have a irate customer on my hands lol

No e.mail for me yet, so just phoned Customer Care. My deposit was 7th July 2021 for a V6 auto and I was told that my build is with senior managers and I will get a phone call or e.mail in the next week with an update.
I asked if they had Type Approval for the V6 Auto and they said they thought they had, but when I said I don't think they have, they didn't say anything further. It is still not possible to get V6 auto UK insurance quotes, so unless Type Approval was granted in the last few days and awaiting upload by Thatcham into the insurance databases, I can only assume that it remains without Type Approval.
In summary, last week's email promised an update that hasn't happened without my input. I am now waiting for another week. If some people are being told January and Lotus are contacting people in order, I can only assume that my car will be beyond January.
