Anyone received their 30 day notification yet?

I was extremely surprised that the UK depositors were not prioritized properly. Even if I am not living or ordered in the UK, it still shows what kind of operation they are running at Hethel. I understand accountability to shareholders and returning profits is number 1. However, I really hope Lotus begins to do something very special for all the guys that have supported the brand for years and driven multiple Lotus' cars. I don't buy the Brexit excuse, I just hope that going forward they start caring about the customer experience.
 
So many people being told Dec build and Jan delivery. With Christmas shutdown I can't believe they will get this many cars built in Dec. Is it just another variation on "soon"? :)
I was thinking the same about the amount of people being told November build December delivery. As you say, with the Christmas shutdown. Also, if they put as much effort into building and delivering the cars as making videos about them, we would all have had a great summer with our cars.

In the end, unless its an earlyish december handover for me, I would personally prefer January and 2023 car, which does actually mean something in resale value rather than 2022. I.e. if they offered me december 23 - 31 I would try to get January 2-10 for example.... but I imagine many may try this and despite what some have said, they cant accomodate everyone trying to change their 3 dates to dates well outside those....
However, you would think if it is being sent to a dealer, this should not be an issue, they can send it a week early and then you just coordinate with the dealer.....
I potentially will get both cars in January, which is 100% not what I wanted and means some tough love for one of them.. haha
this is alllll in the case they accomplish what they have said, which would be the 1st time in 12 months or more
 
Had my second call with CS this week.....and got the same statement " Your car is still scheduled for October build and we will be in touch in two weeks", well it's not October here in two weeks with respect, " Yes, but we need info from production before we can be certain and that is due to change very shortly". OK, 'things' are about to change then? Will we wait and look forwards to the changes, soon! I guess the chaos is being understood, shortly....

What was your deposit date?
 
I don’t want my car delivered in January but looking to delay to March doesn’t now appear to be an option. Let’s be honest though if you were betting, would you bet on your car being delivered in January, I wouldn’t. We’ve been here before many times.

I’m just assuming my dates will slip to feb as I was an 8th July deposit and I’ll be unavailable until the beginning of march

How frustrating surely it can’t be this difficult to get a sensible accurate answer of when your car is going into production 🤷‍♀️ What value are CS adding ? there working in a dark mushroom cupboard

Yes, when CS called on Friday to tell me there would be yet another delay of a month, having been told this many times before, i said "i don't believe a word you say". Currently, November build December delivery, well, till the next delay.

I am pretty sure that i couldn't do the CC job. US LOT calling for information, and because production not keeping CC informed about what is happening, then they can't give out any information. A never ending process.

Probably not. I do think that the powers that be should be politely informed about The Lotus Customer Experience, from our point of view.

Surely they must look at how many orders are being cancelled as a sign customers are not Happy and voting with their feet 👣 Going to be even more interesting what the stats do once we can finally demo the car and ultimately decide
