Emira Handbook

Had hoped it would be black to blend in not Blue as we have seen on pre-prod cars.

"The owner’s handbook is available in
digital and printed formats. It can be
viewed from the Emira mobile app and
on the Lotus Cars website"

I wonder what the the mobile app will do?
shouldn't that be the AUTOmobile app.......
.
sorry, been bored of no news for a few days and trying to get used to no news for next good few weeks too.
I had asked CS re the app a while ago and was told its not available.... I dont believe it will be ready, even by the time the FE cars are ready. Its a bit like the track and trace app, except maybe cost a bit less....

Typo alert:

3. Ensure the engine is switched off in the doner vehicle and make sure that the two vehicles do not touch each other.

could also be that they were fixing some of the harshness in the sport setup after Henry's and Harry's reviews? Wouldn't surprise me.

Some of those documents have different published dates to others. And all will be under continuous review. I guess that’s why many manufacturers have online versions \ apps as their preferred options.

Reading though the manual ( I know its sad ) but I could not find anything about the speed limiter there is a section on the standard one but the one linked to the local speed limit which is being installed on all new cars ? Maybe its the same thing but just want to know how to switch it off!

The intelligent speed limiter isn't fitted to the V6 FE as it was type approved before the 1 July required date. You've got cruise control and a simple speed limiter, where the driver can set a "not to be exceeded" speed, for example through roadworks or an average speed camera section. "Lotus Cars recommends that you view and follow the information provided on this website prior to attempting any stain removal on your Evora Alcantara® trim."

and also involve a tiny bit less f*cking tyranny...

There is hill-hold:

Hill Start Assist The Hill Start Assist System helps prevent the risk of unintended vehicle movement when driving away from an incline. When stopped on an incline, the Hill Start Assist System will hold the brakes on for a further two seconds after releasing the footbrake. The brakes will automatically release after two seconds or as soon as the vehicle begins to accelerate forward (whichever is the soonest).
I would guess this only applies to the auto-trans...
