That’s it, thanks! That was prob me. Here are some old pictures. I’ve since redesigned the bracket with a screw-on top so that the internals are sealed
Glad to see you jumped on this @silent cilantro. I was looking at this solution a couple of weeks ago, because I am not fond of the idea of rigging the lock to "trick' the car into thinking the back deck was fully closed. Any chance of a write-up on par with the one I received from you with my wireless phone charging tray? (he says with both sets fingers crossed at a white knuckle level )That was prob me. Here are some old pictures. I’ve since redesigned the bracket with a screw-on top so that the internals are sealed.
This is the kit I used

Just warning, I went through two of these kits with my lotus evora, and they both failed due to corrosion, same location, even though the car rarely saw rain. Ended up stranded on the highway in limp mode, so be sure to check it is charging properly. I gave up.That was prob me. Here are some old pictures. I think having it on the underside makes a difference
Just about to fit exactly the same to my battery, took the covers off and thought I best check the forum to see the best way to fit and boom there you are with all I need to know. Thank youPics of the battery charger connections for reference if anyone needs to know how there’s will fit…

Have you got a link for that?Added a voltmeter to my battery cover. Now I can obsess over the voltage level of the battery using real data.

Thanks Nova!Blue Sea Systems 1733 Mini OLED DC Voltmeter - Yellow
Mini 1733 yellow OLED DC voltmeter from Blue Sea Systems with daylight readable display Compact & waterproof for internal or external use. 12V or 24V systems.www.12voltplanet.co.uk
This just has spades on the back. I soldered the wires on and tapped into the pigtail for the NOCO battery charger I installed.
I really like 1) the precision of this voltmeter, 2) the low current draw due to the OLED display, and 3) the readability of the display in all light conditions.
