UK Auto Deliveries

This is good news for all involved.... but I have to inquire:
if a wife is younger does that affect the policy quote?
Asking for a friend.
Adding my wife on always brings the price down, even on my runabout 2015 Ford Fiesta (was the grand sum of £105 fully comp this year for the 2 of us!). There is only a 3 year gap with me at 59 and wife at 56.
If my wife was 20, that would probably turn more heads than the Emira and the cost of insurance would likely be a low priority. :ROFLMAO:

Question for the V6 auto folk that have checked out. Are you going for factory collection, dealer collection or home delivery.
I am home delivery - I wonder if that has any bearing on speed of delivery?
They haven't sent an invoice yet and now the 4 day weekend has begun! No doubt a scramble next week to get the money to them. At least it will give me a chance to go out busking this weekend to get the money together :ROFLMAO:
I’m sort of home delivery, I’m having it delivered to a detailing specialist for PPF straight from wherever it comes from, they will have it for about a week then my turn 🤗

Im factory collection, but will drive it straight to the guys at Project R in Wetherby for PPF .

Congrats. Look forward to hearing your impressions once the car arrives, particularly with regard to the auto transmission.
Yes, I will post in the journal threads with impressions. If it is anything like my Evora 410 Sport auto, I will be more than happy - that car sounded awesome! Best part was the auto blip on the downshifts.

This is where I think Emira is an Evora dialed to 11 (Auto Trans) Can't wait for more opinions about it

Just checked my registration number on the DVLA - it feels real now, only 1 more sleep to delivery!

Checkout was 22/3, ID 28/3, inv 13/4 , collection 28/4

So, now they expect me to sleep tonight! All loaded up ready for home delivery tomorrow morning.

If you are wondering why it is on a 72 plate - I purchased the plate from the DVLA last summer when we were already several delays in and I must have been feeling very optimistic about an autumn 22/winter 23 delivery prior to the 23 plates this March. It seemed a good idea at the time! At least it will be a talking point.

I will start a journal thread tomorrow with first impressions and the start of my Emira adventures!

I feel very guilty about queue jumping and being the first UK auto delivered on the forum as my deposit wasn't until Goodwood and I am aware that there were others before me.

OK perhaps not very guilty, perhaps slightly guilty, or not very guilty at all :ROFLMAO:

At least you won't have to read any more of my posts about Type Approval and insurance woes!
